Iron Mountain is seeking an analytical Senior Benefit Analyst Health & Tax Advantaged Accounts (North America) to join our Benefits Administration and Service Excellence team.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to serve as a critical subject matter expert, managing multi-million dollar health benefit budgets, analyzing complex utilization data, and executing strategic health and tax-advantaged programs across the US, Canada, and Puerto Rico. By connecting plan data to meaningful engagement strategies and proactive audits, your financial diligence will ensure our North American employees can navigate their healthcare and wellness options with confidence and ease.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

In this role, you will:

  • Drive financial oversight and budget analytics: Manage weekly, monthly, and quarterly budget workflows across North American medical, dental, and vision programs, conducting proactive audits, pivot table queries, and maintaining executive dashboards to track key utilization metrics.

  • Direct Health and Tax-Advantaged plan administration: Serve as the primary subject matter reviewer for self- and fully-insured health plans, FSA, and HSA programs, ensuring seamless execution across vendors like Aetna, Kaiser, bswift, and Darwin while maintaining compliance with HIPAA, ERISA, and Mental Health Parity.

  • Craft strategic engagement communications: Analyze claims data, network utilization, and preventative care trends to design targeted, user-friendly communication campaigns, monthly educational one-pagers, and restroom installments that empower employees to maximize their benefits and tax-advantaged accounts.

  • Partner on open enrollment and vendor performance: Lead testing, configuration requirements, and quality assurance reviews for Open Enrollment, M&A integrations, and vendor life-event implementations in close partnership with internal benefits operations, brokers, and external vendors.

  • Optimize operational processes: Identify automation opportunities, schedule follow-ups, and coordinate executive-level presentations—including support for board-level mental health initiatives—to streamline benefits administration in a matrixed environment.

What You’ll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5–8+ years of experience in benefits analysis, budget management, or plan administration within North American markets (US, Puerto Rico, and Canada).

  • Strong knowledge of complex data analytics, financial driver modeling, and advanced Excel and Google Sheets functionality (including pivot tables, data queries, and test plan development).

  • Demonstrated expertise navigating North American healthcare nuances, including self- vs. fully-insured plan designs, provider networks, HSA/FSA administration, and compliance obligations (ERISA, HIPAA, Mental Health Parity, Form 5500).

  • Proven ability to thrive in ambiguous environment ("shades of grey"), displaying a team-first mindset willing to flex and pivot priorities during organizational changes or M&A activities.

  • Excellent cross-functional communication and project management skills to translate dense policy and data into actionable, easy-to-understand employee communications and leadership presentations.

What We Offer (Benefits)

  • Flexible work options/alternative work options to support work–life balance (Full-Time Remote role with occasional travel for Open Enrollment or site visits).

  • Competitive compensation and benefits aligned with experience.

  • Comprehensive health, wellness, and retirement plans.

  • Paid time off and company holidays.

  • Opportunities for continuous learning and professional growth.
