Job Description Summary:

Rocket Software is seeking a highly motivated and strategic Senior Alliance Marketing Manager to accelerate growth through our expanding relationship with a strategic technology and Go-to-Market (GTM) partnership and alliance. This role will be responsible for developing and executing integrated GTM programs that build market awareness, generate qualified pipeline, and drive revenue through joint marketing initiatives.

About the Role

Rocket Software is seeking a highly motivated and strategic Senior Alliance Marketing Manager to accelerate growth through our expanding relationship with a strategic technology and Go-to-Market (GTM) partnership and alliance. This role will be responsible for developing and executing integrated GTM programs that build market awareness, generate qualified pipeline, and drive revenue through joint marketing initiatives.

The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution and thrives in a collaborative environment where influencing, experimentation, and cross-functional partnership are critical to success. You will work closely with marketing, sales, business unit leaders, and alliance teams across both Rocket Software and the strategic technology partner to create and scale impactful joint revenue programs.

What You'll Do

Drive Joint Pipeline Growth

• Develop and execute integrated alliance marketing plans with the strategic technology partner that increase awareness, generate demand, and contribute measurable pipeline and revenue growth.
• Create annual and quarterly joint marketing strategies aligned to business objectives, solution priorities, and revenue targets.
• Manage marketing investments to maximize return and accelerate progression through the sales funnel.
• Define success metrics and regularly communicate program performance and business impact to stakeholders.

Execute Multi-Channel Campaigns and Programs

• Plan and deliver joint digital marketing campaigns across email, webinars, content syndication, social media, paid media, and account-based marketing initiatives.
• Design and execute in-person and virtual events, executive programs, customer engagements, regional marketing activities, and industry conference participation.
• Collaborate with internal and alliance partner teams to develop compelling messaging, content, sales enablement materials and customer stories that highlight the value of Rocket Software and the strategic technology partner solutions.
• Lead the development and execution of joint thought leadership and speaking engagement programs to increase market visibility and strengthen strategic relationships.
• Ensure consistent execution and optimization of campaigns across multiple regions and markets.
• Collaborate closely with sales and alliance partner teams to convert marketing-sourced leads into revenue.
• Ensure consistent application of brand guidelines across all co-branded marketing assets, campaigns, events, and digital properties.

Build Strong Cross-Functional Relationships

• Serve as the primary marketing liaison between Rocket Software and key strategic technology partner stakeholders.
• Partner closely with the strategic technology partner marketing, sales, alliance, and operations teams to identify opportunities, align priorities, and drive execution.
• Collaborate across Rocket Software's solution marketing, campaign marketing, regional marketing, digital marketing, analyst relations, and sales organizations.
• Influence stakeholders across organizations and levels to drive alignment and achieve shared business outcomes.

Innovate and Scale New Growth Opportunities

• Continuously identify, test, and scale new approaches for generating partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline.
• Evaluate emerging channels, technologies, and campaign models that can improve engagement and marketing efficiency.
• Leverage data, insights, and experimentation to optimize program performance and uncover new opportunities for growth.
• Establish repeatable best practices that can be expanded across Rocket Software's strategic alliance ecosystem.

 

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
• 7+ years of B2B technology marketing experience, including partner, alliance, channel, demand generation, or field marketing.
• Experience working with enterprise software, infrastructure, data, AI, modernization, or hybrid cloud solutions.
• Proven track record developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns that drive measurable pipeline and revenue outcomes.
• Experience working with strategic technology partners, global systems integrators, cloud providers, or enterprise software alliances.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Strong experience navigating complex, highly matrixed organizations and building cross-functional influence and alignment
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across global marketing, sales, operations, and executive leadership teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to guide decisions and optimize performance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background partnering with large technology ecosystem partners including HPE.
• Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Marketo, or similar tools.
• Experience supporting global alliance or regional partner marketing programs.

 

Success in the First 12 Months

A successful candidate will:

• Establish trusted relationships with key strategic technology alliance stakeholders across marketing, sales, and alliance organizations.
• Launch and optimize a portfolio of joint campaigns that deliver measurable awareness, engagement, and pipeline results.
• Create a scalable joint marketing operating model between Rocket Software and the strategic technology partner.
• Introduce innovative pipeline generation approaches that expand partner-sourced and partner-influenced opportunities.
• Become a recognized strategic advisor for growing the strategic technology partner and Rocket Software partnership.

The Senior Alliance Marketing Manager will help connect Rocket Software's innovation portfolio with our strategic technology partner's global reach, creating new opportunities to engage customers, accelerate pipeline, and drive mutual business success.

Primary KPI: Partner-influenced and partner-sourced pipeline growth.

Secondary KPIs: Campaign ROI, partner engagement, customer acquisition, event performance, and revenue contribution.
