Our client is a growing, technology forward business valuation firm seeking an experienced valuer who wants to focus on developing relationships, winning new business, leading client engagements, and signing valuation opinions. You’ll be supported by an analyst team and established infrastructure, allowing you to spend less time building models and drafting reports and more time growing and managing your book.

Responsibilities
Generate new business and build on the firm’s existing relationships and leads
Serve as the client and engagement lead from initial prospect conversations through scoping, closing, and final delivery
Own the valuation engagements you win and serve as the senior signing valuer
Direct and oversee analysts completing the underlying valuation models, analysis, and reports
Review work for technical accuracy, quality, and defensibility
Manage the client relationship throughout each engagement
Sign and stand behind the final valuation opinions delivered
Collaborate with the partners on engagement strategy, business development, and growth opportunities
Represent the firm with existing clients and develop new professional relationships
Participate in client meetings and industry events when an in-person presence supports business development
Stay current on valuation standards and industry developments
Help improve the firm’s sales processes, valuation workflows, and technology stack
Qualifications
ABV accreditation preferred
ASA, CVA, and CBA credentials also welcome
Candidates without a current accreditation may be considered if their experience positions them to obtain the ABV and they are willing to do so; the firm will sponsor and pay for the process
Deep, multi-year expertise in at least one of the following: Fairness opinions, ESOP valuations, Litigation-focused valuations, SPAC and De-SPAC valuations, or Purchase price allocations
Experience with conventional valuation purposes, including tax, financial reporting and compliance, transactions, and strategic or exit planning
Strong experience with complex capitalization structures and cap tables
Technical expertise, professional judgment, and credentials to independently lead, review, defend, and sign complex valuation engagements
Strong client-facing communication and relationship-development skills
Genuine interest in business development and growing a book of business
Existing book of business and relationships, or a clear and documented plan for building one
Strong comfort with technology, including Google Workspace, IT platforms, AI, and LLM tools
Ability to work effectively in a fully remote, entrepreneurial environment
Permanent authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
Compensation
Guaranteed base salary determined by experience and the value you bring
Uncapped, formula-driven bonus tied to the net revenue you generate
Bonus eligibility begins once production covers your fully loaded base cost to the firm
Bonus rates increase as your book grows
Self-sourced engagements earn a higher rate than firm-provided opportunities
Objective compensation formula rather than a subjective bonus determination
Specific base salary, production threshold, and bonus rates modeled with each candidate during the interview process
