Overview

BRMi is seeking a Scrum Master to Support the CMDB Data Completeness for Business Applications initiative by serving as the Scrum Master for a cross-functional Agile team. Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments, coordinate with business and technical stakeholders, and drive delivery of initiatives focused on improving CMDB data quality, governance, reporting, and ServiceNow Application Portfolio Management (APM)

Salary: $110K-$130K

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Agile Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives.
  • Remove impediments and resolve issues that impact team delivery and sprint commitments.
  • Promote Agile best practices and continuous improvement through retrospectives, coaching, and feedback sessions.
  • Track project progress and communicate status, risks, dependencies, and issues to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to Scrum principles, Agile methodologies, and established governance processes.
  • Coordinate work across business application owners, technical teams, and ServiceNow administrators.
  • Lead efforts to improve CMDB data quality by ensuring completion of all required business application attributes.
  • Partner with application stakeholders to identify, validate, and remediate missing or inaccurate CMDB data.
  • Support enhancements to the CMDB Health Dashboard by defining lifecycle-based validation rules for required business application attributes.
  • Coordinate deployment of Business Application Choice Value updates and ensure existing records are aligned with new standards.
  • Develop and maintain ServiceNow knowledge articles, process documentation, and end-user training materials related to business application data governance.
  • Support the development of ServiceNow APM dashboards and reporting for business application registration, attribute updates, ownership changes, retirements, and PRR activities.
  • Identify applications that no longer meet Business Application criteria and coordinate validation, retirement, or reclassification as Technology Management Services or Business Service Offerings.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure milestones are delivered on schedule.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience serving as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Lead.
  • Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies with experience facilitating all Scrum ceremonies.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) for backlog, sprint, and work item management.
  • Experience working within the ServiceNow platform, preferably with CMDB, ITSM, or Application Portfolio Management (APM).
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional technical and business teams.
  • Strong knowledge of CMDB governance, data quality, or configuration management concepts.
  • Experience creating project status reports, dashboards, and executive communications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong facilitation, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to remove delivery impediments.
  • Experience developing documentation, knowledge articles, and user training materials is preferred.
