The specialist acts as a key operational coordinator and line-driver, maintaining visibility on supply status and supporting reliable product availability for patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily Execution & Monitoring of the Supply Plan Monitors daily and weekly progress of the manufacturing plan across DS (internal), DP (internal + CDMO), and FP packaging (CMOs). Tracks status against agreed timelines and quantities.

  • Supply Status Tracking Maintains accurate, up-to-date visibility on production, inventory, and material movements for all DS, DP, and FP SKUs. Provides regular updates on where the company stands versus the manufacturing plan.

  • Order Management & Delivery Follow-up Serves as a central point of contact for supply-related questions from internal and external stakeholders. Updates delivery dates in SAP, processes order changes, and ensures commitments are followed up in terms of quantity and timeline.

  • Backorder & Bottleneck Management Tracks backorders, supports prioritization, and helps coordinate resolution of bottlenecks with internal manufacturing, CDMOs, CMOs, and other functions.

  • KPI Tracking & Reporting Collects and consolidates data to support monitoring of key supply chain KPIs, including OTIF, backlog, backorder levels, lead time, MOQ adherence, and ADS. Prepares regular reports and dashboards as part of the Supply Chain Operations team.

  • Meeting Participation Participates in demand control meetings and operational reviews with tactical planners. Provides updates on current supply status and KPI performance for specific products or delivery streams.

  • Risk Identification & Escalation Monitors committed delivery dates versus actual progress. Flags potential delays or risks early and escalates supply issues to senior team members or relevant functions with supporting information.

  • Stakeholder Coordination Works closely with internal DS/DP manufacturing sites, external CDMOs (DP), and CMOs (packaging) to ensure smooth execution of the supply plan. Supports communication and follow-up between Supply Chain Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, and Logistics teams.

  • System & Data Management Maintains accurate data in SAP related to production orders, deliveries, and inventory. Supports month-end supply reconciliation activities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.

  • 1–4 years of experience in supply chain, preferably in pharmaceuticals or biotech.

  • Basic knowledge of SAP (PP, MM, or SD modules) is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong organizational and coordination skills.

  • Good analytical skills with attention to detail.

  • Clear communication and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and international environment.

  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
