About the Role

Lead the team building Salesforce solutions that power the Firm’s operations and growth. As our Salesforce Development Lead, you’ll combine hands-on development with day-to-day team leadership to advance Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Revenue Cloud, Sales Cloud, Agentforce, and related technologies.


You’ll coordinate priorities, assign and monitor work, and coach developers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business, technical, security, and development standards. As a senior technical resource, you’ll help solve complex challenges across solution design, development, integration, troubleshooting, and platform optimization.


Partnering with the Applications Development Manager and business and technology stakeholders, you’ll support team performance, develop talent, and drive the successful delivery of Salesforce initiatives. This is an opportunity to stay close to the technology while helping your team grow and shaping the platform’s continued evolution.


Your Key Contributions

  • Provide day-to-day supervision and technical guidance to the Salesforce development team, including assigning and coordinating work, monitoring progress and workload, providing coaching and feedback, supporting performance evaluations, and contributing to the professional development of team members.
  • Coordinate the team's execution of Salesforce development and support activities across Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Agentforce, and related platform capabilities, ensuring work is completed in accordance with established priorities, technical standards, development practices, and delivery expectations.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership and participate in the design, development, configuration, and implementation of Salesforce solutions, leveraging Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, Visualforce, platform automation tools, and other Salesforce technologies as appropriate.
  • Provide technical guidance on Salesforce solution design and implementation, helping translate business and functional requirements into effective technical solutions and escalating significant architectural decisions, risks, or exceptions to the appropriate technology leaders.
  • Support consistent application of established Salesforce engineering and development practices, including solution design, development, testing, code reviews, security, deployment, documentation, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and root-cause analysis.
  • Coordinate and support Salesforce CI/CD, DevOps, monitoring, observability, and platform health activities, using tools such as Copado, Gearset, Azure DevOps, Harness, or equivalent platforms to support reliable deployments and effective platform operations.
  • Provide technical guidance and hands-on support for Salesforce integrations, data models, security, and platform configuration, including APIs, middleware, event-driven integrations, security controls, and governance requirements, ensuring solutions follow established enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standards.
  • Support the optimization of Salesforce Service Cloud and customer service capabilities, including Case Management, Omni-Channel, Knowledge, CTI, Digital Engagement, Entitlements, and SLA management to improve agent productivity, platform effectiveness, and customer experience.
  • Coach team members on Salesforce technologies and modern development practices, including Salesforce Einstein, Agentforce, GitHub Copilot, AI-assisted software development, automation, and intelligent workflows, and support appropriate adoption of approved technologies and development tools.
  • Review Salesforce releases, platform enhancements, AppExchange solutions, and emerging capabilities, identifying potential opportunities or impacts and providing technical recommendations to the Applications Development Manager and other technology stakeholders.
  • Support a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing development environment by reinforcing established engineering practices, encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous improvement, resolving or escalating technical and operational issues, and supporting team and departmental goals.


What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • 1-3 years of hands-on Salesforce platform experience, with deep expertise in Salesforce Cloud and related technologies.
  • Builds Effective Teams: Fosters a collaborative and supportive team environment by coaching Salesforce developers, sharing technical knowledge, encouraging collaboration and accountability, and supporting individual skill development and performance.
  • Directs Work: Coordinates day-to-day Salesforce development activities by assigning work, clarifying priorities and expectations, monitoring progress and workloads, helping remove obstacles, and ensuring adherence to established technical, security, quality, and development standards.
  • Manages Conflict: Addresses day-to-day disagreements, competing priorities, technical differences, and performance concerns constructively by facilitating productive discussions, focusing team members on shared objectives, and escalating issues when appropriate.
  • Communicates Effectively: Clearly communicates assignments, priorities, technical expectations, feedback, risks, and changes while effectively translating information between technical team members, business stakeholders, and leadership.
  • Situational Adaptability: Adjusts leadership and technical support based on team member experience, work complexity, changing priorities, and emerging issues, shifting appropriately between coaching, directing, troubleshooting, hands-on support, and escalation.
  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Agentforce, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Flows and automation tools, Salesforce Shield, and Visualforce.
  • Deep knowledge of Service Cloud capabilities, including Case Management, Omni-Channel, Knowledge Management, CTI integration, Digital Engagement, Entitlements, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data modeling, security architecture, sharing models, and platform governance.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce integration patterns and technologies, including REST APIs, SOAP APIs, Bulk APIs, Platform Events, Streaming APIs, MuleSoft and middleware platforms, Kafka, and event-driven architectures.
  • Working knowledge of cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, microservices, and AWS or comparable cloud platforms.
  • Knowledge of application security, observability, compliance, monitoring, and performance optimization.
  • Experience leveraging AI-powered development tools and enterprise AI capabilities, including GitHub Copilot, Salesforce Einstein, Agentforce, and AI-assisted testing and code review.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide technical guidance, coaching, work coordination, and day-to-day supervision to technical team members.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders.


Work Schedule

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Eastern Time
