About Us

Geeks on Site helps residential and business customers across the United States solve technology problems through remote and on-site services. Our services include computer repair, IT support, networking, and smart home installation. We focus on practical solutions, reliable service, and a positive customer experience.

About the Role

As a Sales Representative, you will help customers understand their technology support options and select services that meet their needs. You will handle inbound inquiries, make outbound calls, follow up on leads, and close sales. You will also explain subscription options when appropriate and coordinate with internal teams to provide a smooth handoff for service delivery.

This role suits someone who enjoys customer conversations, takes ownership of follow-up, and is motivated by measurable sales results. We provide training and resources to help you learn our services and sales process.

Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound sales inquiries and conduct outbound calls to assigned leads and potential customers.
  • Ask focused questions, listen actively, and document customer needs to recommend suitable services and subscription options.
  • Explain service scope, pricing, subscription terms, and next steps clearly and accurately, following approved company information.
  • Build rapport, address objections professionally, and guide customers toward an informed purchase decision.
  • Close sales and work toward individual and team targets for sales, conversion, and subscription performance.
  • Manage assigned leads and follow-up activities in the CRM, keeping contact details, notes, outcomes, and next steps accurate and current.
  • Coordinate with service and support teams, communicate customer expectations, and escalate questions or issues that require specialist assistance.
  • Follow approved sales processes and protect customer information when using company systems.
  • Participate in training and coaching, and share feedback on customer needs, common objections, and lead quality.

Qualifications

  • Strong spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate clearly with U.S. customers.
  • Customer-facing sales experience and the ability to describe how you have contributed to sales goals.
  • Strong listening, questioning, objection-handling, and follow-up skills.
  • Comfort using CRM tools and navigating several systems while maintaining accurate records.
  • Basic familiarity with computers and common technology issues, with a willingness to learn our services.
  • Good organization, dependable attendance, and the ability to manage priorities independently in a remote environment.

Preferred experience

  • Experience in phone sales, inside sales, or a contact center serving U.S. customers.
  • Experience selling technology services or subscriptions and working with both inbound and outbound leads.

How success is measured

Success is measured through sales results, closing ratios, subscription performance, timely lead follow-up, accurate CRM records, and the quality of customer interactions. Individual targets and expectations are communicated by the sales leadership team.

Requirements

  • Laptop or desktop computer with at least 8 GB RAM; 16 GB is recommended.
  • USB headset with a noise-canceling microphone.
  • Stable internet connection with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds.
  • Ability to connect through Ethernet; a wired connection is strongly preferred.
  • Reliable power and a quiet workspace suitable for customer calls.

Benefits

  • Base compensation based on experience.
  • Performance-based bonuses and commissions.
  • Payments through Deel.
  • Fully remote engagement for independent contractors in Latin America and Trinidad and Tobago.
  • Two days off per week.
  • Training and resources to support your development.
  • Opportunities for professional growth within a U.S.-based technology company.
