A Day in the Life

The Sales Representative – Cardiovascular Group (CVG) North Region is responsible for driving sales growth, developing customer relationships, supporting clinical education, and expanding access to Medtronic cardiovascular therapies across the assigned territory.

The role promotes and sells Medtronic products and services within assigned accounts and geographic areas to meet or exceed sales targets, while ensuring ethical, compliant, and customer-focused execution.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Achieve or exceed assigned sales and revenue targets for the CVG portfolio in North Region
  • Develop, build, and strengthen long-term relationships with cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, cath lab teams, hospital management, procurement stakeholders, and distributors
  • Identify new business opportunities, pursue leads, assess customer needs, and expand existing accounts
  • Provide product education, case support, product demonstrations, and clinical/technical guidance to healthcare professionals
  • Support tender business, quotations, technical evaluations, contract follow-up, and documentation requirements
  • Conduct regular customer visits and maintain clear account plans for key public and private institutions
  • Coordinate with distributors and internal stakeholders to ensure product availability, timely execution, and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor competitor activities, customer requirements, market trends, and share relevant insights with Marketing, Clinical, Operations, and Commercial teams.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Business, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Healthcare, or related field
  • Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or hospital sales
  • Experience in cardiovascular therapies, cath lab, cardiac surgery, interventional cardiology, or tender-driven healthcare business will be preferred
  • Strong understanding of hospital buying processes, procurement, tender documentation.

Extensive field travel across North Region is expected, including Peshawar, Mardan, Swat, and other assigned territories as business needs require.
