The job: 
As a Sales Executive at Buildertrend, you will help builders bring order to complexity and grow their business with confidence. You will guide high-revenue companies through decisions that shape how they manage projects, teams, and profitability. Your ability to understand each builder’s goals and tailor the right approach will directly impact their success and ours. Within your first year, you will build a strong pipeline, lead meaningful conversations, and close deals that expand Buildertrend’s reach in the market. 

What you will do: 

  • Own a portfolio of prospects and define the best strategy to move each opportunity forward.  

  • Lead tailored product demonstrations that connect Buildertrend to each prospect’s business needs.  

  • Build relationships with decision-makers at companies generating $5 million or more in revenue.  

  • Partner with sales leadership to align on account strategy and priorities.  

  • Develop and execute plans to meet and exceed goals for pipeline growth and revenue.  

  • Identify new opportunities through targeted outreach and consistent follow-up.  

  • Embrace using AI as a tool to enhance your work, while remaining open to learning, applying critical thinking, and owning the quality of your final work.

      Who you are and what you need: 

      • Bachelor’s degree preferred. 

      • 2+ years of experience selling to companies with $5 million or more in revenue. 

      • 2+ years of lead generation experience.  

      • Strong understanding of sales strategies and pipeline management.  

      • Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal.  

      • Ability to build trust and navigate complex buying decisions.
