The analyst will produce strategic intelligence reports to assess and mitigate security, economic, and geopolitical risks for corporate clients. Additionally, they will serve as an analytical editor, providing quality control and feedback on the work of peer and junior team members.
This is a remote position.
Emergent Risk International (ERI) is seeking to hire a mid-career Risk Intelligence Analyst. Candidates for this role are experienced intelligence analysts able to use formal tradecraft to produce exceptional intelligence analysis for corporate clients. As a mid-career intelligence analyst, the candidate will also be required to help edit analytical products of peers and more junior team members, in parallel with delivering their own analytical output.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable and significant analytical editorial experience and have previously worked as an intelligence analyst and analytical editor. The successful candidate will also preferably have substantive analytical experience in the Middle East region, including regularly reporting on geopolitical, economic, energy and supply chain issues with business impacts for our clients. They will demonstrate flexibility and desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a focus on threat and risk intelligence analysis and editing/publishing.
Candidate will work in a remote capacity with role based in India.
This is NOT a cyber security role.
What We Are Looking For:
An experienced Risk Intelligence Analyst with subject matter expertise focused on the Middle East (though other regional SMEs will be considered) who can produce daily research and writing of analytical products and also conduct daily editing and quality control of peer and junior analysts’ output. This person should have a deep knowledge of strategic intelligence analysis and tradecraft, experienced in analytical editing including reviewing and feedback and supporting junior analysts as well as OSINT, research, writing and briefing senior leadership on strategic issues impactful to business.

Working Hours: Role is a standard business hours position; however, as a member of a global team, the successful candidate will be required to work some early mornings or evenings to attend meetings or calls in other time zones. ERI is committed to a manageable and sustainable work-life balance. Only candidates willing and able to work a flexible schedule will be considered.
Remuneration: Pay will be commensurate with experience.
