The Revenue Integrity Specialist will identify and prevent revenue leakage by reviewing charge capture, billing workflows, and reimbursement data. They will collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and provide actionable recommendations for process improvement.
Raventra Health is a medical services company providing outsourced billing, coding, and claims processing solutions for provider groups and hospitals. As a Revenue Integrity Specialist, you will help provider clients identify and prevent revenue leakage across the revenue cycle. You will review charge capture, billing workflows, payer reimbursement, and account activity to identify discrepancies and opportunities for improved accuracy, compliance, and reimbursement.
Review charge capture and billing workflows to identify missed or inaccurate charges
Analyze claims, payments, adjustments, and reimbursement data to identify revenue discrepancies
Identify potential revenue leakage and recommend corrective actions
Review payer reimbursement against contracted rates and established billing guidelines
Investigate underpayments, incorrect adjustments, and other payment discrepancies
Collaborate with billing, coding, payment posting, and AR teams to resolve revenue-related issues
Monitor recurring billing and reimbursement trends and identify opportunities for process improvement
Prepare reports and communicate findings and recommendations to internal teams and client stakeholders
Support audits and reviews related to charge capture, billing accuracy, and reimbursement
2+ years of experience in revenue integrity, healthcare revenue cycle management, medical billing, or a related healthcare finance role
Strong understanding of healthcare billing, claims, payments, and reimbursement processes
Experience analyzing charges, payments, adjustments, and payer reimbursement
Ability to identify discrepancies and investigate the root cause of revenue leakage
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
Ability to interpret billing and reimbursement data and communicate findings clearly
Strong understanding of payer requirements and healthcare revenue cycle workflows
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment
HIPAA-compliant private workspace
Experience reviewing payer contracts or reimbursement rates
Medical coding or billing knowledge
Experience with Epic, Athena, eClinicalWorks, or another major EMR or practice management system
Experience with revenue cycle reporting and data analysis
Experience working with provider groups or hospitals
