We are committed to delivering high-quality market research solutions to our clients by connecting them with the right participants through our online panels.
Job Description:
This role sits within our Client Service team, internally titled Client Service Director. In this role, you'll build and grow key client relationships across the Americas, drive utilization of our online panels, and lead the strategic push into new business opportunities across your territory.
We're looking for someone who wants to build something, not simply manage a portfolio.
This role is for a commercially driven leader who enjoys creating opportunities, takes full ownership of results, and thrives with a high level of autonomy. We value people who are accountable, transparent, and proactive: someone we can trust to run the Americas region as if it were their own business, while working collaboratively within the processes that help us scale.
We also believe positive energy matters. We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, supports their colleagues, and contributes to a culture where people genuinely like working together.
Responsibilities:
- Own the Americas region as your business – take full responsibility for commercial performance, profitability, client satisfaction, and long-term growth of your territory.
- Be a trusted business partner – communicate openly, take ownership of challenges, make informed decisions independently, and escalate risks early when support is needed.
- Drive new business – lead pitches, negotiations, and client meetings to win new clients and grow existing accounts, while spotting new market opportunities to fuel growth.
- Set the strategic direction – coordinate how company strategy is rolled out across your region, and guide the client service team on sales and account management to keep clients satisfied and retained.
- Drive operational excellence – follow established processes while proactively identifying opportunities to improve the way we work, helping the business scale more effectively.
- Lead and develop your team – set clear goals, monitor progress against them, and invest in the growth and development of your team members.
- Manage your project portfolio – oversee resource allocation, timelines, and delivery across your projects, stepping in personally on complex or high-profile accounts.
- Set the standard for quality – define sampling strategies and uphold fieldwork quality standards across your projects.
- Guide your team's output – review and approve proposals and quotations from junior colleagues, keeping them aligned with client needs and company goals.
- Track and improve the numbers – monitor KPIs and financial performance, identifying ways to boost efficiency, cut costs, and grow profitability.
- Represent TGM Research externally – attend conferences and industry events, and collaborate cross-functionally to help shape new products and services.
Qualification:
- 5–10 years of experience in the market research, consulting, or online panel industry, combining both account management and project management.
- Proven experience leading and developing teams, with the ability to coach, motivate, and support colleagues.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of winning new business, growing strategic accounts, and leading successful client negotiations.
- Experience managing budgets and P&L, with a focus on sustainable, profitable growth.
- Strong understanding of market research methodologies, online sampling, and fieldwork quality standards.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish trust with both clients and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, take ownership of decisions, and deliver results with minimal supervision.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and continuously improving the way work gets done.
- Positive, collaborative attitude with the resilience and adaptability to thrive in a fast-growing international environment.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work within Eastern Time Zone hours (UTC-5 / UTC-4).
Benefits:
- Fully remote position
- B2B contract
- Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses
- Professional development opportunities
- International Team setup
- Flexible Working Policy
- A collaborative and innovative work environment
- Working with newest technologies and using modern tools (including MacBook)
- 21 days of holidays + bank holidays
