About the Role

Virtus from FIS is a leading provider of alternative investment services and technology solutions supporting asset managers, banks, and institutional investors.

As a Representative Senior with BPS Middle Office, you will play a critical role in the administration and ongoing management of structured finance transactions with a strong focus on CLO and CDO portfolios. You will oversee complex deal activity, cash movements, reconciliations, and reporting while serving as a key liaison among collateral managers, trustees, loan agents, investors, and internal stakeholders.

What You Will Be Doing

• Administer and oversee daily operational activities for CLO, CDO, and other structured finance transactions.
• Support Representative Leads and Senior Leads with cash management, portfolio activity, trade settlements, and transaction lifecycle events.
• Reconcile complex cash flows, loan positions, principal collections, interest payments, and deal-level accounting records.
• Monitor and resolve breaks across trustee reports, portfolio accounting systems, bank activity, and collateral manager records.
• Calculate and validate waterfall distributions, management fees, incentive fees, and investor allocations.
• Review monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc investor reporting packages to ensure accuracy and compliance with transaction documents.
• Analyze deal documents, indentures, and governing agreements to support operational execution and exception management.
• Coordinate with collateral managers, trustees, loan administrators, custodians, and other financial counterparties to resolve operational issues.
• Maintain complete books and records for structured finance vehicles while ensuring audit readiness and strong data governance.
• Identify process improvement opportunities, support automation initiatives, and contribute to operational excellence across the middle office function.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and practical experience.
• Experience supporting structured finance, securitization, CLO, CDO, leveraged loan, or corporate trust operations.
• Strong knowledge of cash reconciliations, transaction processing, portfolio accounting, and financial controls.
• Demonstrated understanding of CLO/CDO transaction structures, payment priorities, and investor reporting processes.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including lookup functions, data analysis, reconciliation techniques, and financial modeling capabilities.
• Ability to investigate, analyze, and resolve complex operational discrepancies across multiple data sources.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage large financial datasets and competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with experience collaborating across clients, trustees, loan agents, and internal teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience performing CLO/CDO waterfall calculations and reviewing trustee or investor reporting.
• Hands-on experience with CDO Suite, Solvas, Geneva, Intex, Wall Street Office, or similar structured finance platforms.
• Knowledge of syndicated loans, leveraged loans, fixed-income securities, and securitized products.
• Understanding of collateral quality tests, coverage tests, concentration limitations, and compliance monitoring within CLO structures.
• Experience supporting new issue CLO transactions, refinancings, resets, restructurings, or other structured credit events.
• Professional certification or advanced coursework in finance, accounting, investments, or structured products.

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $108,230.00 - $184,000.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
