Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that are aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new team members.
- Serve as a key point of contact for employee relations, addressing any demands, grievances, or other issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Nurture a positive, engaging, and inclusive working environment across our distributed team.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance and employee development.
- Maintain and enhance our compensation and benefits programmes to ensure they are competitive and equitable.
- Identify training needs and create or procure professional development programmes.
- Ensure compliance with UK employment law and best practices, updating policies and procedures as required.
- Maintain employee records and reports with the highest level of confidentiality and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Human Resources Manager or in a similar senior HR role.
- In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Demonstrable experience with the full range of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and staff development.
- Excellent people management and interpersonal skills, with a high degree of emotional intelligence.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities, with a proven capacity to handle multiple priorities.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
- A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A professional HR qualification (e.g., CIPD) is highly desirable.
- Experience working within a remote or technology-focused company would be a significant advantage.
