Better yet, become one. CPI has an immediate opening for a Regional Sales Manager – Northern California. Candidates based in or near the Sacramento region are preferred to support effective territory coverage and customer engagement. This is a market-facing sales role responsible for driving territory growth, strengthening customer preference, and expanding CPI’s market position throughout Northern California. The Regional Sales Manager develops business through direct engagement with end users, contractors, consultants, distributors, and strategic partners while collaborating closely with CPI’s technical and support teams.   Successful candidates operate with a territory ownership and employee-ownership mindset and combine strategic thinking, strong communication skills, consultative selling capabilities, and disciplined execution to generate measurable business results. This role requires proactive business development, structured territory planning, and the ability to influence projects early in the decision-making process. This position carries a salary range of 120K – 135K annually plus quarterly sales incentive, profit sharing, and more. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Ability to lead consultative customer conversations with confidence and executive presence Action-oriented, proactive, and highly self-motivated Strong territory ownership, accountability, and business planning skills Effective time management, prioritization, and organizational discipline Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Ability to develop and execute strategic territory growth plans Collaborative team player who works effectively across sales, technical, and customer support functions Demonstrates adaptability, sound judgment, and a continuous improvement mindset   Technical Competencies Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Technical, or related field preferred Minimum of 8 years of outside sales experience in ICT infrastructure, networking, cloud, data center, or related technology environments Proven track record of territory growth, pipeline development, and consultative sales success Strong understanding of: enterprise and data center infrastructure structured cabling systems hyperscale and colocation environments edge computing and IT/OT convergence Experience developing business through: end users contractors consultants distributors Ability to analyze territory performance, pipeline trends, and customer activity to identify growth opportunities Strong working knowledge of Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office Suite Ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory
