Summary:

The job holder serves as the key commercial customer interface. Working within allocated sales portfolio (domestic, intra-Group, indirect export sales) and targets set under the AGS area for Avionics and IFE business units.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet the objectives in terms of OI and GMOI set in region of responsibility
  • Manage and lead all prospecting, marketing and negotiation activities in order to ensure the sale of AGS products & services
  • As a Capture Leader, coordinate with the AGS Bid Management team for strategic deals
  • Reporting on on-going sales campaign to Area Director
  • Set the regional sales plan and opportunity defined by fleet and customer in line with strategy
  • Strategic analysis of Sales Campaign and perform ad hoc competitor analysis
  • Support Customer Success teams for achieving contractual obligation and customer satisfaction
  • Participate in dedicated AGS trade and industry shows
  • Frequent traveling to visit Airlines and MRO under portfolio
  • Bring and project an image of quality commercial & technical assistance in services to customers
  • Coordinate with the following relevant external organization: Marketing consultants and representatives recognized by AVS, Embassy, representatives of Airbus, BOEING, Regional Aircrafts
  • Coordinate with all Thales internal stakeholders to ensure total customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • Min. 5 years sales or marketing working experience within the aviation sector and minimum 2 years in an international environment
  • Min. 5 years working experience relating to customer relationship management
  • Maintain an exemplary level of political, economic and competitive knowledge in the region of responsibility
  • Have an exemplary knowledge of the customers/operators and the aviation environment, ensuring the quality of the commercial and technical activity to the individuals’ customers in region of responsibility.
  • Good command of spoken and written English
  • Able to travel frequently and work under high pressure
