The Regional Auto Program Manager is a key member of the PACS Auto & Fleet team, responsible for owning the end-to-end implementation and ongoing compliance of the Auto Program across an assigned portfolio of post-acute care, senior living, and hospice facilities. This is a high-impact, highly visible role that serves as the primary point of contact between facility leadership and the corporate Auto & Fleet program. The Regional Auto Program Manager ensures that every facility in their region is fully onboarded, compliant, trained, and supported — and that drivers remain current with all program requirements on an ongoing basis. As PACS continues its national growth, this role plays a critical part in ensuring new and existing facilities are equipped to operate safely and effectively.
Essential Duties
Program Rollout & Onboarding
Lead full Auto Program onboarding for all new and existing facilities within the assigned region.
Coordinate authorized driver roster (ADR) setup, Coast fuel card enrollment, MVR monitoring activation, and USDOT compliance verification for each facility.
Ensure telematics dashcam devices are installed, activated, and in active use at all facilities in the region, collaborating with the Telematics & Technology Specialist as needed.
Partner with Field Trainers to schedule and execute PASS training, wheelchair securement training, and driver onboarding at facilities across the region.
Track onboarding progress across multiple facilities simultaneously and report status to program leadership.
Ongoing Driver Training & Compliance
Ensure drivers across all facilities in the region — new and existing — remain current with all Auto Program training requirements on an ongoing basis.
Coordinate with Field Trainers to schedule refresher training, address driver turnover, and ensure no facility falls behind on training compliance.
Monitor driver authorization status and MVR records across the region, following up with facilities to address gaps and maintain a complete and current authorized driver roster.
Proactively identify facilities with compliance gaps and work directly with facility leadership to bring them into compliance.
Maintain accurate records of training completion, driver compliance status, and outstanding action items across the region.
Compliance & Regulatory Oversight
Monitor ongoing compliance with all Auto Program requirements including driver authorization, MVR monitoring, fuel card usage, and telematics across the region.
Partner with the USDOT & Compliance Specialist to ensure regional facilities meet all applicable federal and state transportation regulations.
Identify and escalate compliance gaps to facility leadership, following up until resolution is confirmed.
Support facilities in understanding and meeting their auto insurance requirements, including coordinating with the appropriate internal teams to address coverage questions and ensure facilities have what they need.
Assist with auto insurance claims coordination for facilities in the region, serving as a point of contact and helping to guide facilities through the process.
Facility Support & Relationship Management
Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for facility administrators and transportation coordinators within the region.
Triage and resolve facility-level issues including fuel card access problems, driver authorization questions, vehicle concerns, and insurance inquiries.
Support vehicle title transfers and fleet transitions in coordination with the Title Specialist.
Manage auto claims activity within the region, coordinating with insurance and risk management teams as needed.
Telematics Collaboration & Driver Safety
Collaborate with the Telematics & Technology Specialist to monitor driver safety data across the region and ensure facilities are actively coaching drivers and addressing unsafe behaviors.
Serve as the regional point of contact for telematics-related compliance — ensuring devices are in use, drivers are logged in, and facilities are engaged with the platform.
Escalate serious safety events or patterns of concern identified in the region in coordination with the Telematics & Technology Specialist.
Support driver app adoption across facilities, working alongside the telematics team to ensure full utilization.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Physical Demands
Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer, managing communications, compliance tracking, and program administration tasks.
Frequent use of hands and wrists to operate computers, phones, and standard office equipment.
Ability to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, and via video and electronic platforms with facility staff, drivers, and program leadership.
Occasional travel to facilities, training events, or other business-related locations as needed.
Ability to lift or carry materials and equipment weighing up to 20 pounds on an occasional basis.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
2+ years of experience in operations, program management, fleet management, compliance, or a related field required.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple facilities, locations, or accounts simultaneously required.
Strong organizational skills with experience tracking complex, multi-step processes across a distributed portfolio required.
Excellent communication skills — comfortable working with facility-level staff and corporate leadership alike required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Outlook) required.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision required.
Experience in healthcare, post-acute care, senior living, or a highly regulated industry preferred.
