The Opportunity:

Reporting to the National Engineering Manager this remote role can be based in Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast or the Gold Coast and is responsible for managing refrigeration projects from planning through to commissioning and operational handover.

Working across refrigeration renewal programs and new store installations, you'll collaborate with internal engineering, implementation and development teams, as well as contractors, consultants and external stakeholders. You'll oversee project delivery, manage risks, track budgets and timelines, and ensure installations meet performance and compliance requirements.

This opportunity offers genuine end-to-end project ownership and exposure to a varied portfolio of refrigeration installations across multiple retail environments.

This is a hands-on project management role offering exposure to installation, commissioning, stakeholder engagement, project delivery and operational handover across a varied refrigeration project portfolio.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Manage refrigeration installation and commissioning projects from planning through to completion.
• Deliver projects within agreed scope, budget, timelines and quality standards.
• Coordinate contractors, consultants and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead commissioning, testing and operational handover activities to verify installation performance.
• Identify, manage and mitigate project risks while driving continuous improvements in project delivery.

What we are looking for:

• Degree or Diploma qualification in a relevant engineering discipline or trade qualification with demonstrated relevant technical experience.
• Minimum 5 years' practical experience managing and commissioning projects.
• Proven capability delivering refrigeration installation and commissioning projects on time, to specification and within budget.
• Experience coordinating contractors, subcontractors and multiple project stakeholders.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Proven project management and supervisory experience within a technical environment.
