Labcorp is seeking a RCM Training Specialist I to join our Cash Applications, Unidentified Cash team.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST

Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver training programs for new hires and current employees within Cash Applications, Unidentified Cash.

  • Evaluate training effectiveness using performance data and provide actionable feedback

  • Monitor and report on training impact during onboarding and ongoing development

  • Collaborate with operational leadership to identify training needs and update training materials

  • Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance with policies and procedures

  • Utilize a variety of instructional methods, including classroom, virtual, and on-the-job training

  • Incorporate industry best practices and continuous improvement strategies into training programs

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare, life sciences, business, or related field with 3+ years of experience in training, learning & development, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Work experience in Cash Applications or Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)

  • Ability to engage and support diverse learners

  • Proficiency in databases, Microsoft Office, and virtual training platforms

  • Analytical skills to assess training effectiveness and identify improvements

The RCM Training Specialist I is responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating training programs. This role ensures employees are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to perform their duties in alignment with established standards and procedures. The Training Specialist monitors training effectiveness, analyzes performance data, and partners with operational stakeholders to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Pay Range: $19.00 – $21.00 per hour

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data. 

Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
