JOB SUMMARY: The RCM Customer Service Representative is responsible for assisting with patient statement and internal billing questions. This position is also responsible for supporting the RCM CSR team with day-to-day challenges, and meeting productivity goals.
 
 
Essential Job Functions:
  • Answer high volume of patient calls
  • Answer day-to-day questions and provide support to patients and team members
  • Ensure patient understands the statement and assist with taking payment
  • Follow up timely on internal and external correspondence
  • Identify and provide feedback on areas of opportunities
  • Identify and escalate posting trends that affect our patient's receiving an erroneous statement
  • Maintain CSR goals set by management
  • Other duties as assigned by your manager
COMPETENCIES:
  • Outstanding communications skills, both written and oral
  • Experience in healthcare, at least one year
  • Attention to detail, and flexible work style
  • Must be team player
  • Excellent customer service skills. Both external and internal
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • High School Diploma or equivalency is required
POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
  • This is a full-time remote position. 
    • Location: Remote in AL, FL, GA, IL, IN, MI, MO, NC, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA
  • The hours required are Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm EST
  • Travel to other locations as necessary
