In this full-time maximum term role (until 30 June 2028), you’ll work as a part of our Renew Pacific team, based from one of our Pacific Country Offices in Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu or Fiji. The REnew Pacific Regional Finance Officer plays an important role in delivering on our vision of a better world for children.

This role contributes to REnew Pacific's mission by providing strong financial stewardship and partnering with operational leaders to ensure resources are managed efficiently, risks are minimised, and strategic objectives are achieved. Through your expertise, you will help strengthen the organisation's capacity to deliver meaningful and sustainable impact across the Pacific region.

You will make a difference by:

• Managing project financials, ensuring accurate coding, budgeting, forecasting, and expenditure tracking.
• Preparing and analysing BVA reports, forecasts, burn rates, variances, and financial risks.
• Coordinating financial information across Country Offices and regional program teams.
• Delivering financial reporting, insights, and presentations to internal and donor stakeholders.
• Maintaining financial controls, compliance, audit readiness, and adherence to DFAT and organisational requirements.
• Building team capability through financial guidance, reporting tools, templates, and budgeting support.

Experience with DFAT-funded programs, donor reporting, cost recoveries, and multi-country projects is highly desirable.

This role requires:

• Relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience managing project, grant, or donor-funded finances, ideally in the Pacific.
• Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with ERP/accounting systems.
• Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, and cross-team coordination skills.
