 What You will Do:

  • Primary: In this technical role, create/modify/maintain our A&D (Aero Engine) customer’s Quality Policy, Procedures, Standards, Work Instructions, Forms, and Checklists within their current QMS (Quality Management System).
  • Secondary: Conduct/Oversee Quality Process Audits and resulting Corrective Actions related to your Primary role.
  • Secondary: Conduct/Oversee training/retraining related to your Primary role.
  • Provide technical oversight (mentoring) and technical review of the work performed by other team members, or likewise, toward the purposes (reasons) of this role.
  • Support our business growth initiatives through daily work / interactions

 

What You Will Bring:

  • BS-Technical Degree
  • 15+ years Quality Engineering experience comprised of: Quality Management, Quality Assurance, Non- Conforming Material Process, Auditing (Certified), Technical Procedural writing, and Training in the Aerospace/Defense (A&D) industry
  • Experience with Aero-Engine OEMs (highly noteworthy)
  • Other Quality Engineering experience (noteworthy)
  • Product Life Cycle experience (noteworthy)
  • Other Technical Certifications (noteworthy)
  • Technical Writing experience associated with the Developing, Authoring, Maintaining, Auditing Quality Management Systems (QMS) to AS / ISO requirements.
  • Thorough knowledge of A&D industry’s regulatory Quality Controls and Procedures regarding the qualification and assurance of conforming material (hardware) as well as the control and evaluation of non-conforming material.
  • Aptitude with both OEM production as well as Aftermarket MRO.
  • Ability to read and converse accurately about engineering and manufacturing drawings, use of GD& T, other quality requirements, process specifications, and performance requirements of technical engineered products.
  • Conversing clearly with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Procurement, Supply Chain disciplines including their interdependencies / hand-offs.
  • Working with customers, including government/military representatives.
  • Collating and presenting technical data/information.
  • Product Lifecycle MRP systems.
  • Process Auditing and CARR Management.

 

Pay Range: $80,000-$125,000 yearly– Flexible Full-Time role. Equivalent hourly Part Time role possible.

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and other incentives. 

Work Requirements:

This position is classified as Remote within the United States.

Travel requirements: Due to the nature of the work, up to 20% travel is required.

Citizenship requirement: Due to the nature of the work, U.S. Citizenship is required.
