They are seeking an experienced and highly driven QA Tech Lead to lead quality assurance initiatives across complex AI-powered products and integrated hardware-software systems. This is a senior-level, hands-on leadership role ideal for someone passionate about quality, process improvement, and technical excellence in fast-paced R&D environments.


About the Role

As the QA Tech Lead, you will take ownership of QA processes, testing strategy, and overall product quality across multidisciplinary engineering teams. You will play a key role in driving quality standards, mentoring QA professionals, and ensuring reliable product delivery throughout the entire development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform hands-on manual testing for complex AI-driven and hardware-software integrated systems
  • Lead QA initiatives from a technical perspective and establish high-quality standards across products
  • Define, implement, and continuously optimize QA methodologies, workflows, and best practices
  • Own the end-to-end quality process, from requirements analysis through production release
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, AI, and R&D teams to ensure seamless delivery
  • Identify product risks, prioritize issues effectively, and support timely resolution
  • Adapt QA planning and execution based on evolving business and technical priorities
  • Promote a strong culture of quality, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to QA team members


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 5+ years of hands-on QA experience in complex technical environments
  • 2+ years of experience in a QA Tech Lead, Team Lead, or similar leadership role
  • Strong expertise in manual testing methodologies and QA processes
  • Proven experience leading QA efforts in dynamic, fast-paced environments
  • Experience working with at least one of the following:
    • AI-based systems
    • Computer Vision technologies
    • Hardware-Software integrated solutions
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities while maintaining high-quality execution
  • Strong ownership mindset with excellent problem-solving capabilities
  • Effective communicator and collaborative team player

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working within AI or retail technology environments
  • Experience improving QA frameworks, processes, or testing infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and release processes
