The New Brunswick Youth Care Association (NBYCA) is a non-profit, voluntary organization representing providers of community-based care services for children and youth across New Brunswick. We provide a unified voice for our members—a unique alliance of not-for-profit operators—who are united by a shared belief in the value of community-based care and the essential role this sector plays in the lives of children, youth, and families throughout the province.
Reporting to the Board of Directors Executive Committee, the Provincial Coordinator plays a central role in supporting coordination, communication, and targeted advocacy efforts across the New Brunswick youth care sector. This position is responsible for supporting the advancement of the Association’s strategic plan, supporting strong governance, and adopting meaningful relationships with members, partners, and stakeholders.
This is an opportunity to lead with purpose—to be a voice for a sector that matters deeply and to help shape a future where high-needs children and youth are supported safely and compassionately within their communities. As a key representative of NBYCA, the successful candidate will bring credibility, heart, and vision to the role, inspiring confidence, fostering collaboration, and helping elevate the profile and impact of the sector.
The Provincial Coordinator acts as both a connector and organizer, ensuring that priorities move forward, members remain informed and engaged, and key initiatives are effectively supported. This role requires someone who is highly organized, collaborative, and motivated to contribute to meaningful system improvement.
This flexible, contract-based position is best suited for a professional who thrives in complex environments, enjoys bringing structure to collective efforts, and is energized by contributing to advocacy work that drives real impact.
