Provider Enrollment Specialist (Remote)

Overview

Join a leading mental health organizations as a Provider Enrollment Specialist. This is a fully remote opportunity where you’ll play a key role in ensuring providers are successfully credentialed and enrolled with insurance payers, supporting access to care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit provider enrollment and re-enrollment applications for Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans
  • Maintain accurate provider data in internal systems and payer portals
  • Track application progress and proactively follow up with payers
  • Collaborate with providers and internal credentialing teams to gather documentation and resolve discrepancies
  • Monitor re-credentialing and revalidation timelines to ensure uninterrupted payer participation
  • Respond to provider and internal inquiries regarding enrollment status
  • Support audits and reporting related to provider enrollment activities

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1–2 years of experience in provider enrollment, credentialing, or healthcare administration
  • Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer enrollment processes
  • Familiarity with CAQH is required
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment

  • Fully remote
  • Shift options:
    • 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM MST
    • 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM MST

This is a Contract position based out of Phoenix, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
