Proposal Writer

One Federal Solution (OFS) is seeking an Savvy proposal writer to develop information technology (IT) proposals for federal government Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs) and Task Orders (TOs). This is a remote position.

What You'll Do

• Read, review, and understand Government RFIs and RFPs
• Develop solutions for staffing and technical approach by analyzing SOW/PWS requirements and incorporating IT best practices using our company’s collective knowledge, expertise, and capabilities to set us apart from our competition.
• Write technical content and interview subject matter experts to confirm technical accuracy of creative solutions
• Develop and write compliant and compelling proposal responses to federal RFIs, RFPs
• Develop compelling past performance citations that showcase the skills and experiences we have gained from our successful contracts
• Provide technical assessment on proposal content developed by other personnel
• Edit and proofread proposal sections for technical accuracy, style and consistency
• Collaborate with Executive Team to write win strategy, themes, discriminators, and value propositions
• Participate in brainstorming and strategy sessions
• Conceptualize, design, and develop intuitive graphics
• Participate in opportunity kick-off meetings, team reviews, and resume reviews
• Participate in proposal reviews and provide meaningful feedback

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, Master Degree preferred in Communications, Writing or Other related field of expertise 
• At least 5 years in federal proposal development in the areas of Logistics Support, Infrastructure Support, Cyber Security, Software Development (CMMI)
• Proven skill with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, & PowerPoint required; Project & Visio a plus)
• Experienced managing proposal full lifecycle is a plus
