Optimize medical record integrity to ensure documentation accurately reflects the patient’s severity of illness and the high-quality care provided.
Drive clinical clarity by initiating proactive, collaborative discussions with physicians and mid-level providers to resolve documentation gaps prior to patient discharge.
Manage accurate diagnostic tracking by performing comprehensive admission reviews and entering precise working diagnoses into the tracking system to secure appropriate reimbursement.
Validate clinical documentation outcomes by maintaining meticulous records of review activities, ensuring all reporting data is accurate, compliant, and impactful.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Education:
Active Clinical Credential: Current Registered Nurse (RN)
CDI Certification: Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS) or Certified Documentation Improvement Practitioner (CDIP).
Acute Care Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of clinical experience in an inpatient acute care setting.
