Coordinate the planning, scheduling, and submission of proposals while creating high-quality marketing content to support business growth. Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure brand consistency and effective communication across multiple sectors.

This role reports into the above mentioned office, however NORR offers all of its employees the opportunity to work either from home or from a NORR office.

NORR is a global team of 800 architects, engineers, planners, and interior designers creating design strategies and solutions that express the unique vision of every project. Our story began in 1938 and has evolved into an employee-owned, fully integrated firm committed to sustainable development goals across 13 market sectors in Canada, the US, and UK. Design excellence continues to guide everything we do.

We are looking for a Proposal and Marketing Specialist to support business growth by developing compelling proposals and impactful marketing content across multiple sectors.

Working closely with Principals, Business Development professionals, and technical teams, you will coordinate proposal submissions and create high-quality content that showcase our capabilities, strengthens our brand, and supports pursuits in the Education, Residential, and Commercial sectors, while contributing to NORR’s growth and expanding presence in the North West.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Coordinate the planning, scheduling, development, and submission of proposals, in accordance with specified requirements
  • Coordinate the development of narrative, graphics, project experience, resumes, and technical information and other necessary content from both internal teams and sub-consultants as applicable.
  • Format, edit and proofread proposal content for consistency, accuracy and completeness
  • Communicate with proposal participants to track tasks against the schedule
  • Produce presentations, marketing assets, award submissions, and other business development content.
  • Maintain proposal resources, marketing content, and digital assets while maintaining brand consistency and quality.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and support business development initiatives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

What You Will Bring to the Team

  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Business, Design, or a related field
  • 5–7 years of experience in proposal coordination, marketing, communications, or business development support.
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign and Photoshop) and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in the Architecture, Engineering, Construction (AEC), or Professional Services industry

Our teams have no physical borders as we collaborate across sectors and geographies, taking best practices and innovation from every region and applying them to what’s next. We are human—and we have the ability to be pivotal change makers in the built environment.

We are helping shift the built environment from a source of carbon emissions to a driver of climate resilience. Our commitment to sustainability goes beyond the projects we design—it’s embedded in how we work. Our flexible, connected workplaces reflect that same mindset, empowering our teams to design with purpose and shape a net zero future. Be part of the solution with us.
