Lead Successful Software Delivery Projects with IRIS

At IRIS, we help organisations transform the way they work through innovative software and outstanding service. We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Education Professional Services team and lead the successful implementation of our solutions for customers across the education sector.

The Role

As a Project Manager, you'll take ownership of complex software implementation projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring customers achieve maximum value from their IRIS solutions.

You'll work directly with senior customer stakeholders, internal consultants, product specialists and delivery teams to ensure projects remain on track, risks are effectively managed, and implementation goals are successfully achieved.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end software implementation projects.

• Take ownership of project delivery, ensuring objectives, timelines and budgets are achieved.

• Build strong relationships with customers and act as a trusted delivery partner.

• Manage project risks, issues and dependencies proactively.

• Coordinate resources and stakeholders across multiple workstreams.

• Ensure adherence to project governance and delivery methodologies.

• Deliver accurate reporting on project progress and performance.

• Support a customer-first approach that drives successful outcomes.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

• Significant project management experience, ideally within software, technology or complex delivery environments.

• A proven track record of delivering multiple concurrent projects successfully.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

• Experience managing challenging or high-visibility projects.

• A proactive and solutions-focused mindset.

• PRINCE2, PMP or similar project management qualifications (desirable).

• Experience delivering Payroll or HR software implementations (highly desirable).
