Project Manager

Akicita is seeking a Project Manager to lead a high-visibility public health consulting engagement supporting the Indian Health Service (IHS) Office of Public Health Support. This project will improve immunization coverage rates across IHS facilities nationwide by standardizing how providers and program staff use immunization data and reporting systems.

What You'll Do

• Lead all aspects of project execution: develop and maintain the Project Management Plan, integrated schedule, and risk register

• Plan and facilitate the project kickoff and recurring status meetings with the IHS Headquarters immunization team

• Manage a multidisciplinary team of public health, health informatics, process improvement, technical writing, and training professionals

• Drive on-time delivery of eight major contract deliverables, including systems analysis reports, process maps, a User Operations Guide, and a complete training package

• Lead stakeholder engagement across IHS Headquarters, Area Offices, and Service Units

• Own quality control: manage internal review cycles, comment adjudication, and incorporation of Government feedback

• Serve as primary point of contact for the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR)
