Description

Compensation: Base salary plus performance-based commissions

Base Salary Range: $69-$85 (dependent upon skillset, knowledge, and experience)

Commission: Paid on (1) signed revenue from estimating at/above target GP% and (2) realized gross profit on projects managed at/above target GP% (plan details at offer.

We assist our clients in restoring, rebuilding and renewing properties following natural disasters & unexpected water/fire/mold events as well during their planned budgeting for improvements.

Position Overview

The Project Director is responsible for developing new business, servicing existing business lines, estimating, and project leadership across their assigned region. Your duties include scoping losses, producing client-facing reports, developing detailed and accurate estimates via Xactimate, T&M ROMs, and delivering customer success from first call to final walk.

What You'll Do

  • Respond to existing client requests within the assigned area of operations, including after-hours as necessary.
  • Perform site inspections to scope mitigation, construction and environmental projects; able to gather detailed adjuster-style photo reports and daily field reports.
  • Accurate Estimating (Produce T&M and Xactimate ROMs),to include vendor invoices, material takeoffs, and local standard pricing.
  • Manage the projects to final resolution through clear technical skills and expertise and effective communication with all stakeholders.
  • Develop scopes, budgets, and schedules; coordinate internal crews and qualified subcontract partners to execute the plan.
  • Expect to oversee multiple projects simultaneously to final completion, change orders, and file closeout processes.
  • Maintain existing clientele while growing client relationships through your personal network and book of business; participate in business development engagements to build the regional book of business and overall GSR brand.
  • Provide local market expansion by onboarding local vendor partners while adhering to GSR and industry standards in your area of operation.

(Performance Based) Commission Structure

Commissions are tied to profitable performance and are structured around two primary activities:

  • Estimating / Sales Commission: based on signed revenue generated through estimating, when estimates meet or exceed the target gross profit (GP%) threshold.
  • Project Management / Oversight Commission: based on realized gross profit for projects you manage/oversee, when results meet or exceed the target (GP%) threshold.

Target GP% thresholds and commission plan terms are defined by the company and will be shared during the interview process and/or at offer.

Qualifications

What Is Required to Succeed at GSR:

  • Restoration experience with working knowledge of mitigation and reconstruction workflows (commercial required).
  • Xactimate and T&M proficiency; must be able to produce timely & accurate ROMs/ estimates consistently.
  • Clear command of client-ready documentation standards (photo reports, daily field reports/ notes, T&M support and ERP (PSA Vendor Jobs) file organization.
  • Project management skills: scheduling, vendor oversight, strict budget governance and adherence, and margin accountability.
  • Client-facing communication skills; able to interface confidently with stakeholders at GSR as well as adjusters, consultants, and property stakeholders.
  • Business development/ growth mindset with proven relationship-building and networking capabilities.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable MVR; reliable vehicle and ability to travel regionally (up to 3 hours).
  • Self-directed, responsive, and effective in a remote environment with event-driven priorities.
