Project Controls Engineer III

Boston Government Services, LLC. (BGS) is seeking a Project Controls Engineer III to support our client in Oak Ridge, TN.

Responsibilities: 

• Manages integration of cost and schedule data and reporting with company’s accounting and management information systems to facilitate meeting company performance and financial goals. 
• Ensure identification and tracking of changes/potential changes to project scope, ensuring estimates of cost changes and schedule impact are given visibility with the client and the Project Management.
• Participates in planning, development, monitoring, and control of project scope, cost, and schedule integration. 

Requirements: 

• Must have a bachelor’s in engineering or business or a closely related field with 8+ years of direct experience supporting the technical aspects and execution of projects. 15+ years of direct relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. 
• Demonstrated computer skills and proficiency with the Microsoft Office, Primavera P6 & Oracle Cloud, Cobra, SAP, WebEVM (CloudEVM), Acumen (Primavera P6 is a must).
• Working knowledge and understanding of U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) policies, procedures, and requirements in areas associated with project management.
• Demonstrated skills in planning, organization, and schedule compliance.
• Demonstrated skills in cost control, change management and reporting.
• Demonstrated experience with project plans, schedules, budget, tasks, troubleshooting, and ensuring project quality and safety standards are met. 
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening exam.
• Must be eligible to obtain a security access badge.

Location/Work Arrangement:

• This position is remote.
• Schedule is full-time, Monday – Friday 40-hour week.
