Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in a graduate degree program in education, economics, statistics, or a related field. Experience with or an interest in language assessment and education policy is a plus.
Strong quantitative and data analysis skills, with familiarity or experience using quantitative research methods.
Experience with data management, including identifying and resolving data errors, inconsistencies, and quality issues. Experience working with large-scale datasets is a plus.
Experience reviewing and writing academic reports, research papers, or other technical documents.
Experience with STATA or R.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Manage and analyze large-scale, national, student-level longitudinal datasets, including data checking, cleaning, merging, quality assurance, imputation, and linking with other national- and state-level datasets.
Conduct quantitative analyses using descriptive and advanced statistical methods.
Prepare academic research papers, technical reports, and/or presentations to communicate findings to research and policy audiences.

Position Summary/Job Duties:

Support data management and quantitative and/or mixed-methods analyses.
Contribute to a range of projects, with a particular focus on upcoming technical assistance and federal peer-review submissions related to the revised WIDA ACCESS assessment, as well as research and assessment projects supporting Indigenous communities.
