This role is responsible for maintaining end-to-end visibility across the technology and business applications portfolio, ensuring accurate project status, timelines, and dependencies are tracked and reported to leadership at all times. The Program Manager owns the portfolio-level reporting infrastructure that enables leadership to make informed prioritization and sequencing decisions across all active programs.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains comprehensive, real-time visibility into all active projects across the technology and business applications portfolio, ensuring status, timelines, and dependencies are accurate and current.
  • Tracks progress against projected timelines for all in-flight projects, identifies schedule slippage risk early, and drives corrective action with engineering and technical leads.
  • Maps cross-project and cross-team technical dependencies within portfolio management tooling to identify sequencing conflicts, resource contention, and delivery bottlenecks before they impact program outcomes.
  • Establishes and maintains a consistent portfolio-level reporting cadence, producing dashboards and status updates that provide leadership with a clear, accurate picture of overall portfolio health.
  • Translates scope and requirements as defined by engineering leads, technical leads, and product and systems stakeholders into actionable execution plans, sequencing, and tracking within program management tooling.
  • Identifies schedule, resourcing, and technical delivery risks across the portfolio and escalates and drives resolution in coordination with leadership.
  • Orchestrates prioritization and sequencing conversations across multiple concurrent initiatives, ensuring the portfolio reflects current business priorities and technical realities.

 

Who We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) or equivalent experience, required
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or equivalent program management certification, preferred.
  • 2+ years of related experience, required.
  • 5+ years of related experience, preferred.
  • Proven proficiency in portfolio and program management methodologies, including dependency mapping, risk identification, and execution tracking across concurrent initiatives.
  • Ability to translate complex technical scope into structured execution plans and sequencing frameworks without ownership of the underlying technical decisions.
  • Working knowledge of portfolio management and project tracking tooling, including dependency mapping and status reporting capabilities.
  • Knowledge of agile and iterative delivery frameworks sufficient to interpret sprint-level execution data, identify delivery variance, and facilitate informed sequencing decisions with engineering teams.
  • Sufficient technical fluency to understand software development concepts, interpret engineering performance metrics, and engage credibly with engineering and technical leads on delivery risks and constraints.
  • Skilled in identifying and escalating delivery risks with appropriate urgency, providing supporting documentation that enables timely leadership decisions.
  • Effective at facilitating prioritization and sequencing discussions across cross-functional stakeholders, balancing competing timelines and technical constraints.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive alignment and corrective action across engineering and technical stakeholders without direct authority, sustaining momentum across a high-volume concurrent portfolio.
  • Ability to travel less than 5% of the time.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment screening process, as required.
  • Must successfully complete any required training or orientation courses, as needed.

Pay Transparency

The base salary for this position is $84k to $112k USD per year in most US locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
