The Program Manager will own the end-to-end integration of acquired companies, including planning, stakeholder management, and the development of repeatable integration playbooks. They will also coordinate cross-team dependencies across product lines and provide concise status reporting to executive leadership.

ABOUT US:

Ethos Risk Services is a leading insurance claims investigation and medical management company committed to providing better data that translates into better decision-making for our clients. We are at the forefront of innovation in our space, and our success is driven by a dynamic team passionate about delivering exceptional services to our customers.

JOB SUMMARY:

Ethos' Product Management team is seeking a full-time Program Manager, M&A Integration (REMOTE) to own acquisition integration from end to end. Every company we acquire brings systems, data, and people that need to be absorbed quickly and cleanly. This role owns the planning, the acquired-company relationships, the execution, and the escalations, and turns each migration into a repeatable playbook so every integration after it is faster and less costly. The role also coordinates cross-team dependencies across four product lines, maintains the portfolio view of initiatives, milestones, and risks, and delivers concise executive status reporting.

Our ideal candidate is a seasoned program manager who has run M&A integrations or large-scale system migrations and is comfortable starting with an ambiguous mandate and closing it themselves. There is no formal PMO at Ethos today, so the practices this person builds become it. This is a high-autonomy role for someone who manages complex, multi-stakeholder programs with minimal oversight and can distill status into one page an executive can act on.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Integration Ownership – Own acquisition integration programs end to end, including scoping, planning, timelines, resourcing, risk management, and delivery.
  • Acquired-Company Partnership – Serve as the primary point of contact for acquired-company stakeholders through migration, managing communication, expectations, and change management.
  • Playbook Development – Codify each migration into a repeatable integration playbook with templates, checklists, data-migration runbooks, and lessons learned, so integration costs decline over time.
  • Portfolio Management – Coordinate cross-team dependencies across four product lines and maintain a portfolio view of initiatives, milestones, and risks.
  • Executive Reporting – Produce concise executive-level status reporting and escalate only true decision points, with options and a recommendation attached.
  • Process Improvement – Identify and remove process bottlenecks and establish lightweight program-management practices that add speed, not overhead.

  • Experience with claims, healthcare, insurance, or similarly regulated data (strong plus).
  • Background in insurance, workers' compensation, medical case management, or healthcare services (preferred).
  • Experience standing up program-management or PMO practices from scratch in a growing company (preferred).
  • Familiarity with product-led organizations and agile delivery (preferred).

Certifications:

  • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification is welcome but not required. Results matter more than credentials.

Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to own a complex program independently, from ambiguous mandate to delivered outcome, with minimal oversight (required).
