AI Summary

The Program Lead will govern and manage a large-scale sales compensation redesign, chairing the steering committee and maintaining decision logs. They will coordinate cross-functional stakeholders across Finance, HR, and RevOps while managing the relationship with an external consulting partner.

This is a remote position.

About This Opportunity

CTI Staffing is partnering with a leading global IT solutions organization to find a Program Lead for a large-scale sales compensation redesign effort, supporting Sales, Finance, HR, and RevOps leadership. This is a remote, PST-anchored engagement with flexibility across time zones.

The organization is undertaking a major overhaul of its sales commission and bonus structures across North America, touching pay benchmarking, plan mechanics, quota methodology, and rollout. This role owns the governance and program leadership of that effort, working alongside an outside compensation design partner to make sure the redesign lands on time and holds up under executive scrutiny.

What You'll Do

  • Chair the steering committee and maintain the design authority, decision log, and RACI for the redesign
  • Manage approval gates for plan design, eligibility, and pay levels, securing Finance, HR, Legal, and RevOps sign-off
  • Own the stakeholder map and communication plan, producing executive and sales leader updates
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the outside compensation consulting partner, running weekly status and steering cadence
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders across Finance, HR, Sales leadership, and RevOps so the consulting partner's inputs are scheduled and complete
  • Own the master plan, milestones, and risk register across the full scope of the engagement
  • Partner with internal compensation teams on plan inventory, eligibility, and benchmarking inputs
  • Hold the outside consulting partner accountable to contracted deliverables and timeline, escalating internally when needed

Requirements

What You Bring

Must-Have:

  • Prior sales operations experience — deep enough to understand quota, crediting, plan mechanics, and pay administration well enough to challenge a recommendation, not just record it
  • Senior-level experience having personally led a compensation redesign or comparable large-scale transformation end-to-end
  • Proven track record managing outside consulting or vendor partners on a comparable engagement
  • Demonstrated credibility operating across Finance, HR, Legal, and Sales leadership stakeholders
  • Strong program discipline — comfortable owning a plan, decision log, and risk register across a large, multi-workstream scope
  • Available to start immediately
  • Comfortable working remotely across US time zones, PST-anchored

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience specifically with sales commission/bonus plan redesigns at 1,000+ employee scale
  • Background in RevOps or sales operations leadership prior to program/transformation work
  • Experience with executive steering committee governance
  • Familiarity with major sales compensation consulting methodologies

Technical Environment:

  • Enterprise compensation planning and modeling tools
  • Program/governance tracking (RACI, decision logs, risk registers)
  • Cross-functional collaboration across Finance, HR, Legal, and Sales systems

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to use computer equipment and peripherals for extended periods
  • Some travel may be required, up to approximately 25% of the time

What Success Looks Like:

  • A fully governed decision log and signed-off plan designs across the full scope of the redesign
  • A stakeholder base that trusts the process and isn't blindsided by plan changes
  • The outside consulting partner delivering against SOW without becoming a source of program risk
