Summary:

Goldbelt C6 is seeking a Program Analyst II to provide administrative and programmatic support for the Medical Product Safety Branch (MPSB).


Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide administrative and programmatic support for the Medical Product Safety Branch, including maintaining documents/files, scheduling meetings and space, supply/equipment orders, training requests, credit card purchase approvals, travel projections, badge renewals, and general inquiries.
  • Prepare and process staff travel documents, including authorizations and vouchers; attend travel training courses; coordinate with the conference team to ensure approvals prior to travel, including CAMS submission.
  • Attend regularly scheduled team and branch meetings, providing relevant updates and input.
  • Provide programmatic and administrative support to branch teams on projects related to blood, organ, and tissue safety, antibiotic stewardship, and medication safety.
  • Participate during CDC response activities and training exercises under direction of the DHQP Team Lead; duties include staffing the EOC desk to help support CDC's mission.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Able to provide consultation, technical assistance, and training on program and project implementation to internal and external groups.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication in interpersonal exchanges.
  • Ability to work well independently, be solution-oriented, motivated, and committed to customer and company success.
  • Excellent judgment and decision making, with strong analytical skills; business intuition and business acumen.
  • Advanced use of Adobe and Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in program analysis, public health, healthcare, research, or a related field.
  • Previous experience working with the government procedures and guidelines.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain CDC Public Trust Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in program analysis, public health, healthcare, research, or a related field.
  • Prior experience working with the CDC is highly desired to understand the culture and environment.

Pay and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $100,000 annually.
