AI Summary

You will manage the end-to-end stage-gate process for new product launches, ensuring all projects move from idea to shelf on schedule. You will coordinate cross-functional teams including Operations, Sales, and Marketing to maintain a master timeline and ensure launch readiness.

Javvy is on a mission to set a new standard for café favorites with better-for-you beverages that are craveable, convenient, and without compromise. Positioned at the intersection of café culture, convenience, and functional nutrition, we’re reimagining the drinks people buy every day — proving you don’t have to compromise between great taste and quality ingredients. What began as a cult-favorite DTC brand has rapidly scaled into an omnichannel business, now expanding into major retail while building a loyal community around better-for-you café favorites.

The Opportunity:

You'll be the operating system for product work at Javvy. Your mission is to get every refresher, creamer and coffee project from idea to launch on time, across retail, DTC and Amazon.

You’ll partner closely with Product Strategy Product Development and Quality & Regulatory , turning their work into one coordinated launch plan. You’ll keep every project moving, give every team the lead time it needs, and make sure each launch reaches the shelf on schedule.

You’ll report to the Director of Product Strategy & Innovation, work with Product Development, Quality & Regulatory, Operations, Sales, Marketing and Finance, while being in a fully remote (U.S.) role, with regular travel to co-manufacturers and our Charleston, SC HQ.

What You’ll Own:

Stage-gate

  • Run the stage-gate process end to end: gate criteria, required inputs, and go, kill and hold decisions

  • Prepare each gate review and document the outcome

  • Make sure no project skips formula lock, Nutrition Facts Panel sign-off or packaging freeze

One master timeline

  • Keep every project in one place, each with an owner, next milestone, risk level and launch date

  • Plan backward from retail resets, DTC launches and Amazon go-lives so Operations, Sales and Marketing get the lead time they need

  • Flag slips the week they happen, with the impact and a recovery plan

One system of record

  • Select a single project management tool and retire the rest

  • Keep formula versions, sample rounds and feedback tied to each project

Operating cadence

  • Run the weekly product meeting: owners report their own status, and you tie it to the timeline and send notes and actions within 24 hours

  • Lead a monthly portfolio review with our Co-founder & CMO: what's launching, what's at risk and what to cut

  • Own the launch readiness checklist: formula, nutrition panel, packaging, co-manufacturer run, inventory, sales sheet and marketing assets

Cross-functional handoffs

  • Run clean handoffs from formula lock to commercialization, Operations, Sales and Marketing, with a one-page brief at each step

  • Track co-manufacturer and flavor house deadlines: sample due dates, pilot runs and first production

What Success Looks Like

Launches hit their original dates, every project has a current status in one shared system, and potential delays are flagged weeks in advance. Gate reviews happen on schedule with clear, documented decisions, and Operations, Sales and Marketing have the lead time they need to set every launch up for success.

What You Bring

  • 4–7 years leading commercialization, innovation or new product launches at a CPG food, beverage or supplement brand

  • A track record of launching SKUs through co-manufacturers, from brief to first production

  • Experience running (not just participating in) stage-gate and portfolio review processes

  • Strong skills in a project platform such as Smartsheet, Monday, Asana or Notion, plus Excel

  • The ability to keep senior stakeholders accountable to deadlines through influence, calmly and constructively

  • Comfort with regular travel to co-manufacturers and HQ

  • Bonus Points:

    • PMP certification

    • Omnichannel launch experience across retail, DTC and Amazon

    • Experience in a startup or high-growth environment

Why This Role Rocks:

  • Competitive Salary

  • 100% Company-Paid Health, Dental, Vision & Life Insurance for employees
(Family coverage available at employee cost)

  • 401(k) Retirement Plan

  • Parental Leave

  • Free Access to Javvy Products

  • Career Growth Opportunities

  • Collaborative, Fast-Paced Start-Up Environment
