Product Manager, nCode

We're looking for a strategic and customer-focused Product Manager to lead the evolution of our nCode DesignLife and GlyphWorks software suite. This role is pivotal in defining and supporting the development of industry-leading durability, fatigue, and engineering data analytics solutions that deliver exceptional value to our customers and the business.

As Product Manager, you will work closely with customers, application engineers, software developers, and portfolio leadership to shape the future of our durability and reliability offerings while ensuring alignment with broader business objectives and technology strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the product vision and roadmap for nCode DesignLife and GlyphWorks, aligning customer needs, market opportunities, and business objectives.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and Engineering teams to define, prioritize, and deliver capabilities that provide measurable customer value.
• Engage directly with customers, industry partners, and key stakeholders to understand workflows, validate requirements, and identify emerging market trends.
• Define and communicate product strategy, ensuring transparency and alignment across internal teams, sales channels, and portfolio leadership.
• Support PI Planning and Inspect & Adapt events, providing product context, priorities, and feedback to Scrum teams and the Agile Release Train (ART).
• Represent the voice of the customer throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring solutions meet the needs of durability engineers, simulation analysts, test engineers, and data scientists.
• Collaborate with product marketing and sales teams to develop positioning, messaging, training, and go-to-market activities for new releases and strategic initiatives.
• Monitor product performance, adoption, and customer satisfaction, using data and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
• Champion innovation and technical excellence, ensuring nCode remains a market leader in fatigue analysis, durability engineering, and engineering data analytics.
• Drive integration strategy across the wider HBK software portfolio and key technology partners, supporting connected engineering workflows from simulation through testing and reliability.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with nCode DesignLife, GlyphWorks, durability engineering, fatigue analysis, or related engineering software solutions.
• Strong understanding of fatigue methods, durability validation processes, CAE-driven design, test data analysis, and engineering simulation workflows.
• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience in product management, application engineering, durability engineering, or a related technical leadership role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear product direction.
• Experience working with Agile development methodologies and cross-functional software development teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to engage effectively with customers, partners, and internal leadership.
• Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with fatigue and durability standards, including strain-life, stress-life, vibration fatigue, and multiaxial fatigue methodologies.
• Knowledge of simulation-driven development processes and CAE tools such as Ansys, Abaqus, Nastran, OptiStruct, or similar platforms.
• Experience with engineering test data acquisition, processing, and analysis methodologies.
• Familiarity with cloud-based engineering workflows, digital engineering platforms, and modern software architectures.
• Experience presenting at industry conferences, customer forums, or user group meetings.
