The GPU / OEM Procurement Lead owns sourcing and procurement of GPUs and related compute hardware from OEM partners, ensuring Volta secures the compute hardware needed to meet capacity commitments on schedule and at competitive terms.

This role is central to Volta's ability to deliver on The Utility of Compute™, working at the intersection of Capacity Planning, Finance, and global hardware supply chains.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Lead sourcing and procurement strategy for GPUs and related compute hardware from OEM and supplier partners

  • Build and manage relationships with GPU manufacturers, OEMs, and distribution partners

  • Negotiate pricing, allocation, and delivery terms for compute hardware procurement

  • Partner with the Head of Capacity Planning to align hardware procurement with capacity forecasts

  • Track hardware delivery timelines and proactively manage supply risks

  • Monitor GPU market dynamics, availability, and pricing trends

  • Collaborate with Legal and Finance on procurement contracts and payment terms

  • Support forecasting and budget planning for compute hardware spend

What You Bring

  • 7+ years of experience in hardware procurement or supply chain management, ideally with GPUs, servers, or compute hardware

  • Established relationships with GPU manufacturers, OEMs, or hardware distributors preferred

  • Strong negotiation skills and experience managing high-value, high-demand procurement categories

  • Understanding of GPU/compute hardware market dynamics and supply constraints

  • Excellent analytical and forecasting skills

  • Ability to manage supplier relationships and resolve delivery risks proactively

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or related field

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-demand procurement environment
