AI Summary

The Procurement Controller will monitor procurement performance, validate savings, and develop data-driven insights to support decision-making. They will also lead the harmonization of procurement processes, standards, and digital tools across the international organization.

Your mission

Are you analytical, curious and passionate about making things smarter, simpler and more effective? Help us build One Procurement!

At NNZ, we are taking an important step in strengthening the way we work together across our international procurement organization. With One Procurement, we are moving towards a more connected, category-driven approach. By bringing together our knowledge, data, processes and tools across countries, we want to improve transparency, strengthen collaboration and create more value as one international team.

To support this development, we are looking for a Procurement Controller. As Procurement Controller, you play a key role in making our international procurement organization more transparent, efficient and effective. You ensure that we have reliable insights into our procurement performance, from spend and savings to supplier performance and financial impact. You bring together data from different countries and systems, translate it into meaningful information and help colleagues make better-informed decisions.

But this role goes beyond numbers and reporting. You will also help develop and improve the processes, standards and digital tools that support One Procurement. Think of creating common ways of working, improving dashboards and reporting, developing useful templates and making procurement processes smarter and more efficient.

You act as a connecting link between Procurement, Finance and our local teams. You don't just show how we are performing; you help us understand where we can improve and how to make that happen.

Your key responsibilities:
  • Procurement Control & Performance: Monitor and independently validate procurement savings, value creation and financial impact, working closely with Finance to ensure reliable and consistent reporting.
  • Data & Insights: Develop dashboards, reports and analyses covering spend, volumes, prices, supplier performance, contract compliance and procurement risks.
  • Decision Support: Support Category Procurement Managers and local teams with relevant analyses, business cases and insights to improve decision-making.
  • Process & Excellence: Help harmonize procurement processes, develop common standards, templates and guidelines, and support the adoption of new ways of working.
  • Tools & Digitalization: Contribute to the development and functional management of procurement tools, reporting solutions, contract information and automation initiatives.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve data quality, reduce manual work and strengthen collaboration across countries.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with data, understands the bigger picture and gets energy from making things better. Someone who doesn't just produce reports, but asks: What do the numbers tell us? What can we learn? And how can we improve?

You bring:
  • Experience or a strong affinity with procurement, finance, business control, data analytics or process improvement.
  • Strong analytical skills and a structured, accurate way of working.
  • The ability to translate complex information into clear insights and practical recommendations.
  • An interest in reporting tools, dashboards, digital solutions and automation.
  • A continuous improvement mindset and the ability to bring structure to complex processes.
  • A proactive, independent attitude and the confidence to challenge assumptions and existing ways of working.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with an interest in working across different countries and functions.
Above all, you bring ownership, entrepreneurship and the drive to make things happen together.

Why us?

This is your opportunity to make a real difference in how Procurement operates within NNZ. You will help build the foundation of One Procurement: reliable information, transparent performance, consistent processes and smarter digital tools.

As this is a new role, you will have the freedom to contribute your own ideas, shape the way we work and help build a stronger international procurement organization. It is a varied position at the intersection of Procurement, Finance, Data and Business Improvement, offering plenty of opportunities to create impact across NNZ. And because One Procurement is evolving, you won't just be part of the change. You will help shape it.

Your location is less important than the skills and experience you bring. You can be based at any of our NNZ locations and work closely with colleagues across countries, mainly online, with occasional travel when needed.

Interested?
We encourage colleagues from across NNZ to explore this opportunity! Would you like to learn more about the role and the responsibilities? Feel free to reach out to Erwin Duits, Head of Procurement, for more information.

Interested in taking the next step? Please express your interest before 16 November 2026. We look forward to hearing from you!
