Principal Solution Architect (FINS)
We are seeking a Principal Enterprise Architect to drive transformational, cross-cloud solutions for our enterprise Financial Services clients. In this role, you will leverage deep technical expertise and industry knowledge (Retail Banking, Wealth Management, Insurance, and Capital Markets) to architect resilient, compliant, and scalable ecosystems. You will serve as a C-suite advisor, bridging complex business strategies with multi-cloud Salesforce architectures that span Sales, Service, Marketing & Financial Services Cloud (FSC).

Role Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and implementation, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Provide strategic guidance and technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand their business requirements, goals, and challenges to translate these into robust Salesforce solutions, leveraging best practices and innovative approaches.
  • Translate complex financial, compliance, and regulatory requirements (GLBA, SEC, FINRA, GDPR) into secure, highly performant technical blueprints and data models.
  • Develop comprehensive technical designs, including data models, system integrations, customizations, and user interfaces. Ensure alignment with Coastal best practices, platform limitations, and security standards.
  • Mentor and coach the project team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and skill development around Salesforce architecture, design patterns, and development methodologies.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
  • Evaluate new features and capabilities, assessing their potential impact on existing solutions and recommending adoption strategies.
  • Work with Delivery leadership and Account Owners to scope sales proposals
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated, proactively addressing issues and escalating as necessary. 
  • Share best practices and techniques for successful client engagement, including requirements gathering, solution presentations, and stakeholder management across the business to contribute to best practice design
  • Champion of providing feedback to team members to reinforce a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Embrace change and adaptability, proactively seeking opportunities to innovate, experiment, and evolve in response to shifting business needs and industry trends.
  • Establish yourself as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert within Coastal and across the Salesforce ecosystem, contributing to discussions and thought leadership forums.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to expand the company's network, forge strategic partnerships, and drive business growth.
Experience/Skills Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Multi-Salesforce certified
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Salesforce architecture and development, with a proven track record of leading enterprise-level implementations.
  • Extensive knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and experience in cross-cloud implementations
  • Strong expertise in Salesforce integration patterns, API development, and data migration strategies.
  • Familiarity/Awareness in Salesforce Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, Visualforce, and Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, stakeholders, and team members at all levels.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including mentoring, coaching, and guiding cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Must have full-time permanent US work authorization
