AI Summary

The Pre-Sales Support Manager will act as a technical co-pilot to drive channel partnership strategy and validate edge-computing solutions for enterprise retail clients. Responsibilities include leading technical discovery workshops, architecting integrations, managing Proof of Concept pilots, and serving as a liaison between regional partners and internal engineering teams.

This is a remote position.

About Omnishelf:
OmniShelf empowers small-format retailers (Convenience, Liquor, Petrol Stations, Health & Beauty) with real-time store intelligence via our AI and Computer Vision platform. Store teams use standard mobile devices to instantly scan shelves, detect stock-outs, improve planogram compliance, and boost sales. Our unique edge computing approach processes data 100% offline directly on the device (scanning, analysis, reporting, task creation), ensuring fast, reliable store automation without cloud dependency or downtime. We provide actionable insights to store employees and managers to drive efficiency and growth for retailers often underserved by complex tech to ensure “Right Product. Right Shelf. Every Time.”

About The Role:
As the Pre-Sales Support Manager (Solution Architect role) for Europe, you will be the definitive technical "closer" supporting our Channel Partnership strategy across the UK, DACH, Benelux, and Nordic regions. Your primary mandate is highly commercial: you will partner with sales to technically validate our edge-computing solution for Tier-1 partners, System Integrators, and enterprise clients. Because our AI StoreOS is designed to be highly complementary to existing Point of Sale (POS) and Electronic Shelf Label (ESL) systems, you will architect, pitch, and demonstrate seamless integrations with legacy enterprise hardware from providers like Zebra, Solum, and Diebold Nixdorf to drive revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-Sales Deal Support & Strategy:
    • Act as the technical co-pilot to the Channel Partnership Manager Europe and regional Sales Directors. Lead technical discovery workshops, uncover client pain points, and map OmniShelf’s capabilities directly to their business and IT requirements.
  • Solution Architecture & Pitching
    • Architect and confidently present integration workflows to C-level technical buyers (CIOs/CTOs). Demonstrate how OmniShelf’s edge-computing software rides on top of existing POS and ESL deployments without requiring massive CAPEX or cloud computing costs.
  • Objection Handling & PoC Execution
    • Own the technical win. Anticipate and neutralize complex IT security, networking, and integration objections. Design, deploy, and manage highly successful, conversion-focused Proof of Concept (PoC) pilots for tier-1 retail chains.
  • Partner Technical Enablement
    • Serve as the primary pre-sales evangelist for our regional channel partners (VARs, System Integrators). Train and equip their sales engineering teams to pitch and demonstrate the OmniShelf platform effectively.
  • Tier 1 Hardware Synergy
    • Act as the commercial-technical liaison when collaborating with global hardware partners (Diebold Nixdorf, Solum, Zebra), ensuring our joint value proposition is technically sound and ready for market.
  • R&D Feedback Loop
    • Act as the voice of the European market to our core engineering teams. Translate lost deals or technical bottlenecks into actionable product roadmap requests.

Requirements

Must Haves:

  • 5+ years of elite experience as a Pre-Sales Solution Architect, Sales Engineer, or Technical Solutions Consultant within B2B SaaS, retail technology, or edge computing.

  • A deeply commercial mindset: you measure your success by deals closed and partner revenue generated, not just technical deployments.

  • Hands-on technical understanding of retail IT ecosystems, specifically Point of Sale (POS) architectures, Electronic Shelf Labels (ESLs), and in-store networking constraints.

  • Masterful presentation and communication skills. You must be able to translate complex AI and edge-computing concepts into clear business ROI for both highly technical IT Directors and non-technical retail executives.

  • Proven ability to scope, manage, and successfully convert technical pilots (PoCs) in complex enterprise environments.

  • Fluency in English is mandatory; professional fluency in German, Dutch, Swedish, Danish, or Norwegian is a highly strategic advantage.
