ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Pre-Sales Specialist to join our Latin American (LATAM) group.  As part of a smart, friendly, and dynamic pre-sales team, you will be a key contributor to our sales processes, working closely with prospects to ensure our platform solves their challenges.  You will also work alongside our services team, leveraging your unique skills with existing customers to drive deeper organizational adoption and growth.

 

You will have many opportunities to work within the platform to set up and demonstrate architecture scenarios, roadmaps, visualizations, and stakeholder viewpoints in the rapidly growing practice of Enterprise Architecture. 

 

For this exciting role, we require a confident, enthusiastic professional who works well individually as well as part of a cross-departmental team environment.  You must enjoy the pace, variety, and rewards of working for a high-growth tech company.  This role is permanently remote.

 

Specific product training will be provided, and you will need to gain an in-depth knowledge of our platform as well as Enterprise Architecture concepts to perform the following responsibilities:

 

  • Support the sales team by demonstrating the platform’s capabilities, showing how it can solve the challenges presented by prospects and how that translates to value for their organizations;
  • Engage empathetically and consult professionally, understanding requirements and providing product-oriented solutions and best-practice guidance;
  • Provide product expertise by answering RFPs, configuring deep-dive/tailored demonstrations, and completing objective-based POCs;

  • Be the technical point of contact for prospects as they become customers;
  • Identify patterns in customer interactions that can be used to create new content, influence product development, and reinforce our marketing messages; 
  • Represent the company as a platform expert at key conferences or other marketing events;
  • Host webinars, panels, and contribute to marketing resources;
  • Convey customer feedback to Product Management teams and assist in testing new platform features and functionality.



ABOUT YOU

  • Experience as an Enterprise Architect, Domain Architect, Business Architect, CIO, or in a decision-making leadership role will be prioritized;
  • Experience as a prospect-facing pre-sales engineer or similar role driving sales in key accounts would be a plus, ideally within a business intelligence / decision support / enterprise mapping software environment;
  • Ability to simplify complex topics while always relaying the business value of the technical solution;
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, and comfortable explaining technical detail clearly;
  • Self-starter who is comfortable working with minimal direction and figuring out solutions to problems;
  • Drive and motivation to continue learning and growing both professionally and technically as our platform continues to evolve;
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and complexity while being quick on your feet;
  • Thrive in a collaborative environment where everyone works hard and still makes time to connect with each other;
  • Looking for a long-term career opportunity. If you are typically a short-term employee (e.g. less than 2-3 years) this role would not be a good fit for you.
