Position Overview

As the Performance Marketing Director, you will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing marketing department that drives measurable revenue growth. You will unify paid, organic, email, social, and affiliate channels into one coordinated engine while owning launch performance, funnel optimization, and strategic team expansion.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-paced growth environments and enjoys building systems from the ground up. You will partner closely with executive leadership, lead a lean team, and ensure marketing becomes a predictable, scalable growth function.

Position Responsibilities

  • Build and lead a unified multi-channel marketing engine across paid, organic, email, social, and affiliate channels
  • Own marketing strategy and execution for key launches, including campaign architecture, sequencing, and revenue targets
  • Lead funnel strategy and conversion optimization across all offers and customer journeys
  • Direct affiliate marketing strategy, partner performance, and ongoing channel growth
  • Develop scalable systems, workflows, and reporting processes to improve efficiency and output
  • Manage, mentor, and grow the marketing team while identifying future hiring needs
  • Partner with executive leadership on budget allocation, priorities, and growth strategy
  • Diagnose performance issues quickly and implement solutions tied to measurable outcomes
  • Build AI-first workflows and leverage automation to maximize team productivity
  • Ensure all channels operate with clear direction, alignment, and accountability

Qualifications

Required Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience leading marketing functions in high-growth digital businesses
  • Experience building unified acquisition systems across paid, organic, email, and social channels
  • Strong understanding of funnel strategy, conversion optimization, and campaign performance metrics
  • Demonstrated success owning revenue targets and launch-based marketing initiatives
  • Experience managing affiliate or partnership acquisition channels
  • Strong leadership skills with experience building and managing high-performing teams
  • Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on when needed
  • Strong communication skills with executive presence and decision-making confidence
  • Experience leveraging AI tools and automation within marketing workflows
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, founder-led environments with high accountability

Nice to Have

  • Experience in education, coaching, info-product, or creator-led businesses
  • Familiarity with EOS or similar operating systems
  • Experience managing seven-figure launches or high-volume enrollment campaigns

Compensation

$110,000 – $150,000 base salary
Performance bonus up to 10% of base tied to launch revenue targets and quarterly KPIs
90-day contractor trial, then W2 with equity options
