Job Description

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate the implementation and sustainment of supplier governance processes, tools, training, and standard work across the partner network.
  • Maintain and continuously improve documented standard work to ensure it is scalable, repeatable, and aligned to business and performance outcomes.
  • Support execution of governance strategies that extend proven practices from strategic suppliers to broader supplier populations.
  • Develop and maintain a consistent operating model for supplier engagement and performance management in collaboration with senior leaders and functional stakeholders.
  • Build strong working relationships across internal teams to understand priorities, challenges, and opportunities, and reflect them in governance routines and partner interactions.
  • Organize and support governance forums, working sessions, and performance reviews with internal stakeholders and external partners, including scheduling, agenda development, content preparation, meeting notes, and action tracking.
  • Coordinate activities that assess and improve the maturity of the governance framework, including operating rhythms, KPIs, escalations, and continuous improvement actions.
  • Support adoption of governance routines by sharing materials, reinforcing expectations, gathering feedback, and refining templates and processes over time.
  • Coordinate maturity assessments aligned to frameworks such as CMMI, ITIL, or similar process improvement models, including evidence gathering, artifact management, and action-plan tracking.
  • Establish and manage mechanisms that support continuous improvement, such as feedback loops, action trackers, review cadences, and roadmap follow-up.
  • Help maintain and improve the supplier governance framework by updating documentation, coordinating improvement activities, and monitoring progress against agreed plans.
  • Support planning and coordination for annual supplier or partner events, including logistics, preparation of materials, stakeholder alignment, and follow-up on actions and opportunities.
  • Escalate risks and issues appropriately and ensure alignment with broader business objectives.

Required qualifications

  • Experience in supplier management, vendor management, partner management, sourcing, supply chain, supplier quality, or a related field in aerospace, industrial, manufacturing, or other complex regulated environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across functions and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Experience supporting performance management routines, governance forums, or operating cadences involving external suppliers or service providers.
  • Understanding of sourcing or supply chain environments, including commercial drivers, contract considerations, and cost levers.
  • Working knowledge of CMMI, ITIL, or similar process maturity frameworks, with practical experience in assessments, audits, governance, or process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence through preparation, data, and follow-through.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, priorities, and workstreams across cultures and geographies.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience implementing or supporting a structured operating system, management system, or continuous improvement framework.
  • Exposure to lean, FLIGHT DECK, Six Sigma, or similar operating disciplines.
  • Experience preparing content and running governance routines such as tier meetings, business reviews, or supplier performance reviews.
  • Background in supply chain, sourcing, quality, operations, vendor management, or program/project management.
  • Certification or training in lean, Six Sigma, ITIL, project management, or continuous improvement.
