Pulse Labs is a global UX research company enabling leading technology companies to build better products through high-quality participant insights. At the core of our business is our Pulse Voices Panel, our brand and program for recruiting top-quality participants for leading-edge technology research. As Panel Growth and Marketing Manager, you will lead the team responsible for the health and growth of Pulse Voices.
We are looking for a creative thinker and hands-on operator with excellent people leadership skills. You must be strong in core marketing principles and methods, technically fluent, and operationally disciplined. This is a high-impact leadership role spanning recruitment planning, community growth, automation, cross-functional execution, and global expansion. Beyond people management, you will also have a direct hand in the creation of new panel growth and panel health approaches. Come prepared to experiment, build new things, and grow an incredible team!
The current team has 10 members (and growing), globally distributed across North America, Latin America, Europe, and Asia. They are responsible for participant recruitment, engagement, and panel growth across all projects. At a high level, you will be accountable for the following:
- Your team members' growth and performance
- The performance of multiple participant recruiting programs and long-term panel strength
- Operational efficiency, budget oversight, and collaboration with sales on feasibility and planning for new client proposals
- Seamless integration of panel growth and marketing across the full research lifecycle.
This role goes beyond managing execution - it is about building a scalable, future-ready critical business function.
This role is 100% remote, but applicants must be based in India, and be willing to work crucial US hours - late India hours.
Core Responsibilities
1. Team Leadership & Strategy
- Scale and mentor a global team, establishing clear ownership, performance standards, and growth paths.
- Recruit top talent and foster a proactive and innovative culture with a high sense of ownership.
- Deliver compelling, clear communications tailored for diverse internal and external audiences - whether it's a colleague, the leadership team, a customer, or a marketing campaign, your message always lands.
- Develop team balance and expertise across automation, analytics, and paid media to meet evolving needs.
- Standardize workflows to increase operational clarity and efficiency.
- Align team growth with project pipelines and business priorities.
2. Marketing & Panel Innovation
- Lead acquisition initiatives, introducing new channels and experiments to improve marketing performance.
- Benchmark trends and tools to translate industry insights into actionable panel strategies.
- Diversify growth via the scaling Pulse Voices, building vendor partnerships, working with experts in new geographies, referral models, and more.
- Use a test-and-learn mindset to ensure scalable, measurable experimentation to achieve long-term goals.
3. Technical & Systems Leadership
- Partner confidently with Engineering and Product teams to translate marketing needs into technical solutions.
- Be an influential voice in recruitment architecture and automation logic improvements.
- Bridge marketing operations and technical execution to evolve infrastructure as we grow.
- Build structured tracking engines and dashboards to reduce manual work and strethen reliability.
4. Community Strategy
- Transform Pulse Voices into an engaged B2C community with a clear lifecycle strategy.
- Design loyalty mechanisms and long-term journeys to strengthen brand affinity.
- Expand digital presence and brand visibility for the community.
- Scale the Pulse Voices website and ecosystem as a strategic company asset.
- Identify new pathways to increase community value over time.
5. Operations & Financial Stewardship
- Provide recruitment feasibility, budget projections, and risk assessments for new client proposals.
- Represent Panel Marketing across the research lifecycle, from scoping to project closeout. Balance client commitments with operational capacity.
- Improve cross-functional collaboration and identify workflow inefficiencies with multiple internal teams.
- Apply an automation-first mindset to reduce manual processes via scalable tools.
- Own your team's budget and project budgets including forecasting costs, and managing panel acquisition efficiency.
- Collaborate with leadership on investment and scalability, balancing growth with cost management.
Ideal Qualifications
- Experience working for a company that serves US-based clients and with creating marketing campaigns targeting US residents.
- Masters degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
- Experience with recruiting participants for user research, market research, or other research projects.
- Experience working at an early stage startup or rapidly growing technology company.
- Experience leading go to market strategies.
- Experience working in an agency environment.
- Experience building new programs, processes, or approaches with minimal oversight.
Requirements
- 6-10+ years in marketing, recruitment marketing, performance marketing, or community growth.
- 2-5+ years leading remote teams across multiple time zones and countries.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong technical aptitude and comfort collaborating with engineering and product teams.
- Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets and the broader Google Suite ecosystem.
- Experience with marketing automation platforms and multi-channel paid and organic acquisition.
- Strong business sense with analytical, forecasting, and budgeting capabilities.
- Comfort operating in a fully remote, globally distributed, and rapidly evolving environment.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and rapidly evolving role definitions.
