About the Role

As Paid Media Specialist you will own Simetrik's paid media channel end to end — strategy, execution, and analysis. This is a new role and a deliberate shift: we are bringing paid media in-house to run it as a core, owned growth channel rather than an outsourced one. You are the expert we are hiring to own it — you will not be handed a playbook to follow, you will write it.

The United States is the priority market for this role. It is where a paid media expert matters most to us and where we have the least internal guidance to lean on, so direct, hands-on experience running paid campaigns for a US audience is essential. Across Latin America you will have regional demand generation managers to partner with; in the US, the strategy is yours to set.

This is a hands-on, single-owner role for an independent operator. You arrive with your own point of view, build and launch campaigns yourself, read the numbers every week, and iterate — without needing to be managed closely. You will have real support: a full Design team for creative and copywriting support for messaging, so you can move fast. But the accountability for the channel, and the craft of running it well, sits with you.

You will report to the Director of Go-to-Market Engineering and operate as an embedded specialist inside the GTM Engineering function, working shoulder to shoulder with Demand Generation, Content, Design, Brand, and Sales. Success in the first 12 months proves that paid media can be a predictable, efficient pipeline engine for Simetrik — starting in the US and scaling across the Americas.

Success is measured by

You own the paid media channel as one integrated system, not a set of disconnected campaigns. Every ad, audience, landing page, and budget decision feeds a single funnel where performance compounds: creative tests inform targeting, conversion data reshapes budget allocation, and regional learnings carry across markets. We need someone who builds the campaigns and reads the dashboard — iterating weekly on the numbers, not the narrative.

Specifically:

•   Paid-sourced pipeline, US first. The single number this role is accountable for: qualified pipeline generated through paid channels, defended weekly with the GTM team, with the United States as the priority market.

•   Efficiency of spend. Customer acquisition cost, cost per qualified lead, and return on ad spend (pipeline-to-spend), managed to targets across channels and regions.

•   Full-funnel conversion. Click → lead → MQL → SQL/opportunity conversion and velocity by channel, campaign, and region, with each stage feeding insight back into the one before it.

•   Channel and budget performance. Disciplined budget pacing and allocation across Google, LinkedIn, and Meta, shifting spend toward what converts.

•   Landing page and conversion performance. Click-to-lead conversion on paid landing pages, with page-level targets built and hit in partnership with GTM Engineering.

What is the impact and scope of this position?

Paid Media Strategy

Own the paid media strategy for Simetrik, with the United States as the priority market and Latin America close behind. Decide which channels, audiences, and offers to invest in against our enterprise fintech ICP and buying committee (CFOs, COOs, Controllers, Heads of Payments), and build the quarterly plan that ties spend to a pipeline number rather than to impressions or clicks.

Campaign Operations & Execution

Build, launch, and optimize campaigns yourself across our core paid stack: Google Ads (Search, Performance Max, Display, YouTube), LinkedIn Ads, and Meta (Facebook/Instagram). Own audience segmentation, bid strategy, budget pacing, and the daily/weekly optimization work — A/B tests, negative keywords, audience refinement, creative rotation — that separates a channel that works from one that leaks budget. As the channel matures, extend it into programmatic, ABM, and retargeting.

Measurement, Analytics & Attribution

Own the measurement layer end to end. Set up and maintain conversion tracking, UTMs, and event tracking; work in GA4 and Google Tag Manager; and report performance across the full B2B funnel through to pipeline in the CRM (HubSpot and/or Salesforce). Turn campaign data into clear recommendations, and rewrite next quarter's plan based on what the numbers say.

Ad Copywriting

Write and direct the ad copy — headlines, descriptions, and paid landing page copy — that earns the click and the conversion from a skeptical enterprise finance buyer. You will have copywriting support for messaging and narrative depth, but you own the performance craft: writing copy that converts and iterating it against test results.

Landing Pages & Conversion

Treat paid landing pages as a core conversion asset, not an afterthought. Design the conversion path, brief and build the pages (in partnership with GTM Engineering and Design), set page-level conversion targets, and run continuous CRO — forms, layout, offer, and message-match to the ad — to lift click-to-lead conversion.

Creative & Design

Brief, direct, and QA the ad creative that runs across every channel. Simetrik has a full Design team that produces the assets, so deep design skill is not required — but you should be comfortable enough with creative and tools like Figma or Canva to brief clearly, mock up a concept, spot what will and won't perform, and keep the creative pipeline moving at the speed paid media demands.

Budget & Multi-Region Management

Own the paid media budget across regions. Allocate and pace spend with the US as the priority market and Latin America close behind; run campaigns in English and Spanish (and Portuguese where it helps in Brazil); and reallocate budget toward the regions, channels, and campaigns delivering the best pipeline efficiency.

Cross-functional Partnership

Operate as the single point of accountability for paid-sourced pipeline. Run weekly performance reviews with the Director of GTM Engineering and the wider GTM team, partner with Demand Generation and Sales on lead handoff and quality, and coordinate with Content, Design, and Brand so that strategy, copy, creative, landing pages, and tracking all feed one number: qualified pipeline.

Requirements

This is a builder-operator role, not a management seat. You show up with your sleeves rolled up, produce your own work, and figure things out when the playbook doesn't exist yet — because for paid media at Simetrik, it doesn't yet. We need an independent operator who arrives with their own strategy, ships, measures their week by what they launched and learned, and does not need to be managed closely. You are the resident expert on this channel; the company is counting on your craft, not the other way around.

•   4–6 years of hands-on paid media or performance marketing experience in B2B.

•   Direct, hands-on experience running paid campaigns for the United States market. This is essential — we do not have internal guidance to lean on for the US, so you must bring it.

•   In-platform expertise across our core stack: Google Ads (Search and Performance Max), LinkedIn Ads, and Meta (Facebook/Instagram).

•   Strong command of paid strategy and operations — audience targeting, bid strategy, budget pacing, A/B testing, and conversion rate optimization — with proof you turned spend into qualified pipeline, not vanity metrics.

•   Analytical fluency: GA4, Google Tag Manager, conversion and event tracking, UTMs, and attribution, with the ability to report performance through to pipeline in a CRM (HubSpot and/or Salesforce).

•   Ad copywriting ability — you can write headlines and landing page copy that convert, and iterate them against test data (with copywriting support available).

•   An independent operator who arrives with a point of view and a strategy, and executes without micromanagement.

•   Full professional fluency in English and Spanish.

•   Bias for AI-native execution: AI-assisted copy and creative, AI-powered audience and keyword research, and agentic workflows to move faster.

•   Agency or in-house background both welcome — with a slight preference for candidates who have owned a paid channel in-house.

Nice to Have

•   Experience marketing to an enterprise fintech, payments, banking, or B2B finance-software ICP (a plus, not a requirement).

•   Portuguese, for running campaigns in the Brazilian market.

•   Experience with programmatic, ABM, and retargeting, and with ABM platforms (e.g., 6sense, Demandbase).

•   Enough design familiarity (Figma, Canva, or similar) to brief, mock up, and QA ad creative and landing pages.

•   Experience running paid media across multiple regions — the United States and Latin America in particular — and adapting creative and messaging by market.

•   Experience building a paid channel from zero, or bringing paid media in-house from an agency model.

Qualifications

•   4–6 years of paid media or performance marketing experience in B2B.

•   Proven, hands-on experience running paid campaigns for the United States market.

•   Full professional fluency in English and Spanish; Portuguese a plus.

•   Able to work remotely from anywhere in the world.

•   Proven ability to own a paid media channel end to end and defend a paid-sourced pipeline target with go-to-market leadership.
