Paid Media Executive (Google Ads & Paid Social)

About the Role
We're looking for a highly experienced, hands-on Paid Media Executive with at least 5 years of PPC and paid media experience who can step straight into client accounts and make an immediate impact.
This is not a junior optimisation role. We need someone who has managed multiple client accounts, understands performance marketing inside and out, and is confident owning campaigns from strategy through execution. You'll work directly with clients, lead paid media discussions, present performance insights, and drive growth through data-led decision making.
Agency experience is strongly preferred, as you'll be managing multiple accounts, priorities, and stakeholder relationships in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
Own and Manage Client Accounts
- Take full ownership of paid media campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads, and other relevant platforms.
- Manage multiple client accounts simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, building strong relationships and providing strategic guidance.
Campaign Strategy & Execution
- Plan, launch, manage, and optimise campaigns across Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Display, YouTube, Meta, and other paid channels.
- Develop audience targeting, bidding strategies, account structures, and testing roadmaps.
- Identify growth opportunities and implement strategies that improve lead generation, sales, and ROI.
Client Communication & Reporting
- Lead client calls and performance reviews.
- Present campaign results, insights, and recommendations confidently to clients.
- Translate complex performance data into clear commercial insights and actionable next steps.
- Proactively communicate opportunities, challenges, and strategic recommendations.
Performance Optimisation
- Monitor account performance daily and make data-driven optimisation decisions.
- Improve campaign efficiency through audience segmentation, creative testing, keyword management, bid strategies, and landing page recommendations.
- Continuously test and refine campaigns to maximise return on ad spend.
Analytics & Tracking
- Ensure accurate conversion tracking and attribution across campaigns.
- Utilise GA4, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, and platform analytics tools to measure performance.
- Troubleshoot tracking issues and ensure reporting accuracy.
Collaboration
- Work closely with SEO, content, creative, and account management teams to deliver integrated marketing strategies.
- Provide paid media expertise across client projects and internal initiatives.
Stay Ahead of Industry Changes
- Keep up to date with platform updates, automation developments, AI tools, and emerging paid media opportunities.
- Bring fresh ideas and innovative approaches to improve client results.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Minimum 5 years' hands-on PPC and paid media experience
- Strong experience managing Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns at scale
- Proven track record of improving performance and delivering measurable ROI
- Experience managing multiple client accounts within an agency environment
- Strong understanding of:
- Google Ads
- Meta Ads Manager
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
- Google Tag Manager (GTM)
- Looker Studio
- Conversion tracking and attribution
- Comfortable presenting to clients and leading performance discussions
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of business objectives
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities independently
Desirable
- Agency experience (strongly preferred)
- Experience with LinkedIn Ads, TikTok Ads, Microsoft Ads, or Pinterest Ads
- Experience managing eCommerce and lead generation accounts
- Familiarity with CRO and landing page optimisation principles
