Job Title: Paid Media Coordinator

Summary:

California Institute of Applied Technology (CIAT) is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paid Media Coordinator to join our marketing team. This position is essential for supporting the strategy, execution, and optimization of paid media campaigns across various platforms, including search, social, and display. This role will also analyze performance data and report on results to achieve marketing goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital advertising, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to drive performance through ongoing optimization.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily monitoring of campaign performance to ensure optimal results and make data-driven adjustments as necessary. Monitor performance for each campaign by measuring lead volume, CPL (cost per lead), lead to start conversion rates, and CPS (cost per start). Provide ongoing actionable insights into campaign performance
  • Collaborate with media buyers and lead generation partners to identify campaign optimization opportunities; execute optimization strategies to improve campaign performance
  • Collaborate with in-house and third-party creative teams to develop compelling static and video assets, share ad performance results, and oversee an ongoing optimization testing schedule
  • Deploy and analyze A/B testing campaigns to drive improvements with creative design, messaging, landing page conversions, ad placements, click-through rates, and campaign ROI
  • Launch new campaigns with adherence to designated budgets and enrollment goals
  • Prepare and present daily, weekly and monthly performance reports, highlighting key metrics, insights, and recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborate with CIAT departments to ensure messaging, ads, and campaign placements support enrollment goals, financial targets, and audience segmentation
  • Assist with tracking paid media budgets and campaign budget allocation per channel or lead partner
  • Conduct ongoing competitive research to support the development of new programs, program changes, and policy changes to improve enrollment rates
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices with higher education student retention strategies
  • Adhere to CIAT’s compliance requirements to ensure all Federal, State, accreditation, and institutional policies and procedures are being met
  • Follow communication guidelines to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and professionalism
  • Embody CIAT’s mission, vision, purpose, and values

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum three years of experience in digital marketing or advertising
  • Familiarity with Google Ads and Meta advertising platforms required; experience with LinkedIn and YouTube ads is preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations
  • Exceptional and consistent attention to detail, with the ability to multitask effectively Proficiency in student information systems is preferred 
  • Strong organizational skills with the proven ability to prioritize
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey information and interact with students, colleagues, and others
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic; dedicated to quality, quantity, results and timeliness
  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate needs and exercise independent judgment
  • Excellent analytical skills, problem resolution skills and general business acumen
  • Proficient skills in MS Office software products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project and ability to learn additional software products
  • Exhibits a high degree of flexibility in adapting to a rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, academic departments, and administration to support student success, achieve institutional goals and contribute to a positive and inclusive culture
  • Position may require work responsibilities outside of normal business hours to accommodate business needs and deadlines
  • Flexible to work longer hours to meet deadlines, if needed
  • Able to handle sensitive information with a high degree of confidentiality
  • Possess high ethical standards, being an example of professionalism to others
  • Must be able to embody CIAT’s mission, vision, purpose and values.

Supervisory Responsibility 

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. Occasional weekend and evening hours may be required.

Location
This is a remote position. Work must be conducted in locations that have been approved by the company. Company authorization is necessary for relocation or work from other locations, even if temporarily.

Work Environment

While performing the responsibilities of this remote position, the job holder will work in a home office environment.
